This thing is so heavy and well-built I almost couldn't get it in the house. The granite top alone must weigh 50 pounds or more. Assembly was fun, even if it was a bit time-consuming. Sort of like a puzzle, but I had no problems with one exception--attaching the granite top. That's the last step and to be honest, I left the rear two bolts out--the holes in the top didn't align with the holes in the base. I got the front two in and it's not like it's going anywhere as heavy as it is, so I was satisfied and it looks great. NOTE: THIS FAULT SEEMS TO OCCUR IN EVERY SINGLE REVIEW OF THE PRODUCT--THEY SHOULD HAVE FIXED IT BY NOW IF THEY BOTHER TO READ THE REVIEWS. One of the doors was scratched, but a brown magic marker and a paper towel took care of that. The clearance on the drawer is extremely tight so getting it in was a challenge, but a little patience took care of that. The cabinet matches our cabinets and the top matches our countertops; the thing is large, sturdy, rolls nicely, and is extremely well-made. This little kitchen island cart was everything I didn't know I needed! It's worth every dime and more...in other words, the price is incredible for what you get. Directions were clear and easy to follow. My 11 year old daughter and I put it together the day it arrived. The size fills a need I imagine many have...something to add storage and counter space in a bit of a tight space that would normally not be conducive to a kitchen island. Such a small floor footprint, yet a fantastic working space and a solution to not-enough-storage most of run into in the kitchen. That it is on casters is smart. Mine is locked in the perfect place, but I love that I can move it if the need arrises. I appreciate the stainless on black option and couldn't be more happy with this purchase! Super easy to assemble and I was able to do by myself! Every part was clearly marked and all holes lined up perfectly! I love the way the wheels move so smoothly and cart is able to maneuver around in my tight small kitchen. I can pull it over as my stainless steel work surface. Then wipe off and roll out of the way. I wish I had bought one of these years ago. Nice sized storage below for small appliances, etc. with lots of shelf adjustments. Drawer is shallow but full width. Its perfect to store place mats or baking utensils. everyone who sees it thinks its really nice looking. I got black to go with my black stainless appliances since it sits next to my refrigerator. Perfect for our tiny kitchen. I was really getting so tired of dusting off my soup cans on my old open cart. Now everything is nicely stored away and protected! Assembly was pretty easy too, if I hadn't gotten distracted playing with the cats who were trying to steal away some of the smaller hardware pieces I probably would have finished in under an hour! I decided not to attach the spice rack to save some space but you don't notice because that is the side that faces our fridge. I also put both the locking wheels on the back on purpose so that you couldn't see them. It is a little bit more of an off-white than a bright white but still looks good. ... show more

Like many others have noted, this item was the most well packaged thing I have bought online!! Each part was individually wrapped (- including the 3 rods for the spice rack!) so that there are no scratch marks or damages!! And, each of the screws, bolts, connectors, etc. was individually packaged with clear labels! The granite top was packaged in a separate box with wooden support frame and all and is quite heavy duty!! Assembly was straightforward for the most part but in one of the steps, because there is so little leeway, you do need 2 people for it. The only small negative is that the color in the photos of the Cherry cart make it look bit brownish which is what I wanted but it was more of the typical reddish cherry shade. ... show more

Absolutely love this cart. Was slightly tricky to put together at one point (when you're putting the back pieces in place), but the instructions were clear and all parts were there, including spare screws. Comes in two separate boxes with the granite top in a wooden crate inside a cardboard box, so be prepared. I really love that the drawer is an actual drawer on rails, not just a slide in with wood pieces only. It's beautiful and functional! FYI - you can leave off the side parts - the towel racks and spice rack (it's not a paper towel holder) - if you choose, like I did. Love it! ... show more
