I’d seen this tail chaser quite a few times, over the years, when I was dog toy shopping but never really thought a dog would go for it, seemed more like a cat toy to me. But then by a complicated set of circumstances, I ended up with a young puppy. As I haven’t had a puppy in 25 yrs, I completely underestimated how active one is and how inactive I am! I’m a disabled veteran and I try to exercise but still my exercise is very low impact stuff and it just wasn’t enough for a growing dog and that led to problems. I really wondered if I had gotten in over my head and even considered rehoming my baby, which was the last thing I wanted to do but for her sake and mine, I wondered if it wouldn’t be for the best. In kind of a last ditch effort to keep us together, I contacted a dog trainer who specializes in cases similar to mine. Along with some other ideas, she recommended this toy as something that would be low impact for me, high impact for my puppy, so I ordered one. My puppy loves it and I honestly cannot express the difference it’s made. Just playing with it for a few minutes, a couple times a day, this one toy has helped my puppy and me to start to have a balance for both of our needs. Her behavior problems have become so much more manageable and our home has become so much happier that it’s hard to believe that a single toy could make such a difference. I’m not getting paid for this review, I didn’t receive anything free or discounted to write this but I can say in all honesty, whatever your dog toy budget is or if you know someone who is having similar issues, this toy is an absolute god send. I never would have believed the difference it’s made if I hadn’t experienced it myself. But this thing really is a must have for any dog owner, I can’t express that enough. ... show more

I am blown away by how much my dogs love this toy. I have two boxers that are very high energy so I was looking for something that could wear them out quickly on days I don't necessarily have a lot of time to devote to playing with them out in the yard. This definitely does the trick. I'll play with them for 10 minutes and by the time we come back inside they're both laying on top of the air vents with their tongues hanging out the side of their mouths. They would literally play until they passed out if I'd let them. It is probably the only toy I've ever had for them where I am able to play with both of them at the same time instead of having to alternate which one I play with. The little animal at the end of the rope is torn up, smelly, and so covered in slobber that it is now permanently crunchy feeling, but they still love it. We have to keep it up on a shelf in the laundry room when I'm not outside playing with them with it. So now the moment I get home from work they run to the laundry room door and start scratching at it, running in circles, and barking because they know it is time to play with their favorite toy. The only cons I can come up with are that once the dogs DO catch it, it can be a little difficult to get back, we clearly need to work on our "drop it" training. Also, the handle is getting a little loose, but when you've got a 65 lb. boxer that is all muscle pulling at the other end, it's no surprise that the handle would get a little loose considering we play with it daily. This toy is AMAZING and I will be ordering spare toys for the end soon and will definitely reorder another tail teaser if this one every breaks.     • Flimsy but so fun!

We (me and my little Wire Hair Fox Terrier) love it. I read a lot of reviews, prior to purchase, so I imagined it might be flimsy...and, it is. And, the weave poles remind me of toy toilet plungers, for the little one who wants to grow up and be a plumber. But, who cares!?! So, it's flimsy, it's for indoor play/training. She runs the tunnel, zigzags through the poles and hops the high jump. A couple of times, her jump has been low and she's hit the bar. I was happy it was flimsy and just flipped off, rather than something heavier that might hurt her. We have so much fun with this. It doesn't have to be any sturdier to do the job. It will stand the test of time and I think we will tire of it long before it ever wears out - as I don't even see how it would wear out! It is also nice how easily the tunnel folds (like a car visor) to very small and back into the case. Get it! Play with your pooch. Have a ball! We are! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. If you watch the video you'll see that I'm an old guy with a young puppy. It helps to have something that wears that puppy out, so I decided this might be the trick and I liked the price. I've only had it a couple days and you can see how it's being used. So far I have to say that it's the cat's meow for dogs. In some of the other reviews they said their dogs chewed right through it, but I try not to let the dog have it for more than 10 or 15 seconds . . . It's a teaser, not a chew toy. Get them a chew toy for long term chewing. I also read that some had trouble changing out the toys from the rope. It took me about 2 seconds . . . All you have to do is slide the toy up the opening in the rope and then put it through the loop. Very quick and easy. As you can see in the video I and my dog and my son's dog love it. HOWEVER, if anything changes I will update this review and tell you about it. For right now, my advice is buy and enjoy. ... show more
