  • Five Stars... while it lasted
Size: Flared
Let me just say I am a fan of Killerspin paddles. Their paddles are great and provide a great opportunity to grow your skill level. However, I was very disappointed when my paddle broke this past weekend in a tournament. I purchased this paddle on March 20, 2018 and it broke this past weekend in a tournament- literally lasting only about 121 days. As I followed through on a slam, the paddle just DISCONNECTED from the handle- almost hitting a young child in the audience. I felt very embarrassed and very angry that such an expensive paddle just decided to break. I take very good care of my table tennis equipment and would not have thought such a great product would break the way that it did. I have contacted Killerspin regarding this matter and I am hoping for a replacement paddle soon. I would consider another paddle until this paddle is perfected. ... show more

  • but this one here is the BEST! for an intermediate/advance player this has the right ...
I looked up so many brands, read many reviews, tried, and bought, many paddles before that, including the very expensive Killerspin stillo 7r, but this one here is the BEST! for an intermediate/advance player this has the right blend of control, speed & spin. You won't regret it!

  • Fast with Control
Size: Flared
Compared to others in this price range, I have been happy with the speed and control. I'm primarily a topspin offensive player, and I feel that the Kido 7P has improved my game. It has a very noticeable sweet spot, and it is noticeably faster than the 5A and my Donic Epox Offensiv. I have Nitrix 4Z rubber on this blade, and I am very pleased overall. The purchase was great via Amazon. They accidentally sent me a 5A that was mis-packaged in a 7P box. I called and they immediately sent me a new 7P overnight! Great service. ... show more

  • Step up your game!
Size: Flared
First paddle I ever spent over a $100 for and is it ever worth it. I've previously only owned Stiga paddles, which are great, but this might swing me over to the Killerspin side now. I only play recreationally but most of the people I play against are pretty good and this paddle is helping me keep up with them. Speed, spin and control are all phenomenal for this level of paddle. If the Kido 7P at this price is this good I think I might have to get a Diamond or maybe even a Stilo one day. ... show more

  • Great paddle I'd buy another
Great paddle I'd buy another! Very sticky, great control, great packaging! Though I should have bought the cleaner. Dust sticks pretty easily even in the case

  • Recreational Player- Feels a bit heavy to me.
Size: Flared
This paddle may deserve 5 stars, but I am not qualified to make that recommendation as I am just a recreational player. I was hoping to "Love It" and I do love the added spin and "feel" but the weight is considerably more than the medium-quality recreational paddle I have been using. Alternating between the two, I really notice a big difference in how quickly I can move the paddle and I am a fit guy. Before using it I would have questioned the difference a couple? of ounces would really make in a paddle. Now that I have played it I realize that a lot of my shots are very reflex-based rather than deliberate. In other words, there are a lot of "whew, I got to that" shots. Playing with this paddle I seem to miss, or miss-hit more of those reflex shots than I do with a lighter paddle. That is offset by the ability to really play the ball when I have the opportunity to set up a shot. The satisfaction of making a great save vs. making the ball ricochet at a wild angle off of the opponents paddle. ... show more

  • Don't risk buying this paddle when there are so many other great options. DO NOT BUY THIS PADDLE
Size: Flared
I was playing with this paddle and swung moderately hard and it broke at the handle. I did not hit it on anything or misuse it in any way. BUYER BEWARE. There are other reviews all around the web that report this same defect. I am livid about spending this much on a paddle and having it break with normal use. Don't risk buying this paddle when there are so many other great options. DO NOT BUY THIS PADDLE. ... show more
