This runner works well with our home decor almost too perfectly. We use a lot of natural fibers and products (jute and bamboo) so to offset the jute and bamboo we ordered this runner. It is incredibly soft. We vacuumed recently and noticed that it does shed a bit but not unlike most other rugs. Our Dyson is very strong so we are gentle on the Starburst areas to prevent pulling. I was concerned that it would be a lighter green almost like apple green but to my surprise it is a rich darker green which matched very well with my drapes in the massage studio. Purchased 2'x3' rug in teal. It is beautiful! Such a pretty design!!! The teal color is fresh, rug is soft - as you can see it's somebody's new favorite place to sit, and the design adds just the right amount of texture! We absolutely love it! Bought this rug with high hopes for quality because the design was really lovely. However, after a week or so of owning it, I'm disappointed. It sheds like crazy! Both the wool part that comes off as fuzz and the starburst design that easily comes out in a high traffic area (living room with dogs that run around). I don't expect to own this product for a long time but it was pretty cheap so I suppose that's OK. I really wanted to love it and own it for a long time, but alas, not going to happen. ... show more

I purchased this rug for a sitting area room that needed some additional 'pop' of color. This rug certainly proved to serve its purpose. It arrived quickly, as do all items purchased from Amazon. It was packaged and protected very well (as a side note, the box is very heavy, so keep some company around to help you carry it in). The colors are exactly what I expected; consequently, I got the rust/multi color. In fact, they were brighter and bolder than what is in the picture, which I appreciated. Yes, there were a couple, literally two, pieces of the burst that were coming out. This was no matter to me since it in no way affected the look of the rug. It happens with most pieces of carpet that are made with this type of material. Yes, it does shed the first couple of times you vacuum it. Again, not an issue for me since most types of materials shed with the first few cleanings (rugs, clothes, etc.). Speaking of vacuuming, this was my biggest concern since I have dogs. I didn't want to buy a rug that was going to fall apart after I vacuumed it. If you turn the spinners off, I believe this was a manufacturer suggestion, there will be no problems; it still cleans up nice. Overall, I really love this rug! It is a good price for a quality piece. It actually does hold up to heavy foot traffic. My dogs walk on it all the time. My son takes his cars and trains and runs them through it constantly. I have yet to have a problem. If you are looking for a bright, fun rug to add some life to a room, this is the rug for you. ... show more
