YOU NEED TO PLACE THE PILLOW IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR BACK, NOT AGAINST THE BOTTOM OF YOU CHAIR!! The pictures shown here for where to place the pillow are wrong and I suspect is why people are giving this one star. You should feel a huge difference between placing the pillow in the correct location and placing it directly on the bottom of the seat which will not benefit your back and which will push you off the edge of your chair. Working a desk job where I'm sitting 7+ hours a day, I started having really bad lower back pain. Tried foam roller, stretching, massages... nothing solved it. Ever since buying this, pain is gone. Came back and bought another for my boyfriend. I highly recommend it.

I got this for my office chair at wok. The company refuses to get us new chairs that have even close to adequate back support & this helped a lot. My chair usually leans back and can't be stabilized to sit upright much, this back support has been helping me stay upright and I feel like I'm sitting up correctly. I'm so glad I bought this! Also, it comes with two extra strap parts so you can extend the reach of the straps around the chair if it doesn't fit with what is already provided and the straps are adjustable :) UPDATE: it’s 2020 I’m at a different job and still using this same backrest and it has not changed at all in firmness. Did not meet my needs, but a good Lumbar Support cushion, nevertheless. I have lower back discomfort and thought this cushion would help relieve the pain. The cushion didn't fit my lower back so it didn't help; too small.. I contacted Amazon Returns and Amazon said the item was not eligible for a free return. So, I contacted LoveHome. It gave me a complete refund and said I could keep the cushion. Now that's five star customer service. As for the cushion, it is well made, firm and attractive.     • I cannot live without this cushion. So much so, that it even goes camping with me.

I love this thing so much I even take it camping with me to use in my folding camp chair. Here's some thoughts in more detail: Pros: - Breathability. I don't get sweaty in my lower back with long sitting sessions with this cushion. - Support. I have no scientific basis for saying this is the right amount of support for my back, but it is. It just feels great to my back. I'm a 220lb guy and it's perfect for me. - Durability. I've had this cushion for over a year and, save for one issue, this thing has survived daily use. (I'll comment on in the Cons on my one small issue) Neutral: - I thought the price was reasonable for this cushion. At the time, I paid $29.99. Now I see it's $19.99. I think this is a more reasonable price, but either way I can't live without it. Cons: - The first unit began to separate at the stitching on the bottom of the cushion after just a few weeks of use. I contacted Customer Support, and they IMMEDIATELY, no questions asked, shipped me a replacement unit. The replacement one is the one I spoke about in the Pros, noting it has survived constant use/abuse since it arrived. I think my first one was just a bum unit, as the replacement has lasted over a year. Overall, I would highly suggest this unit. Based on the longevity of the replacement and that the price of them has dropped by 1/3 since my purchase, this is a great deal. I use it constantly every day and absolutely cannot live without it. I chose to drop my rating by one star due to the failure of the initial unit and the significant decrease in cost since my initial purchase just over a year ago. I would give this company a 10-star rating on their customer service. They are amazing and I'm sure if i have any other issues, they will be there to support me completely. I hope I have helped your purchasing decision of this product. Really like this pillow, however, I wish there was a way to remove ALL the straps easily for a stationary pillow. I use it on one of our recliners and I am concerned of it leaving marks on the leather, so I had to cut the straps to be sure.
