This matches the towel ring we chose so that’s why we selected this one. They both had decent reviews and this does seem sturdy enough despite the roller part being plastic. At least it doesn’t look plastic. Not sure how long the coating on that will hold you hit so far it seems durable. Husband had a very small issue getting it installed to where the roller was perfectly aligned with the mounting piece. For a Delta product, I expected so much better than this. The hardware was terrible, very shallow slots on the screws, which led to immediate stripping, anchors that broke off the minute you installed them and brackets that very barely hold the set screws. I ended up using my own hardware and having to repair my wall. I am not a novice, 20+ years of experience in home repair. I can only imagine the nightmare DIYers had with this product. Delta, put in quality screws and anchors and for goodness sake, design a BETTER bracket! ... show more

I like the look of this but I was sent a "new" one that had scratches on it. So I sent it back. I'll order it again and see if I have better luck. Update 6/9/15: I ordered this again and this time it looks great. No scratches. The template that comes with it is garbage. Don't even try to use it. Luckily it fit the already existing homes I had so I didn't have to measure it myself. But if I wasn't so lucky I would say measure it yourself. I ordered and installed the other coordinating pieces and loved them so I thought this would be the same but this piece is disappointing. The middle piece is plastic and for the money you pay I feel like it should be metal. I found other all metal toilet paper holders for cheaper than what I paid for this. The plastic is silver looking though so you wouldn't know it wasn't metal by looking so that's nice. It just seemed like less quality than the other pieces in this collection but I'm stuck with it because I need them to be matching and I already installed the towel bar and ring. Oh well. If I could do it over I would do more research and find a different set that was all metal. I was more impressed with the linden collection from delta and the moen sage inspiration collection I installed in my other two bathrooms ... show more

I had previously installed this exact holder but several parts were thrown out by a contractor. I consider myself lucky to find this here on Amazon. It installs quickly and the best part is there aren’t any of the little P.I.T.A. screws that secure it to the mounting hardware!! It holds on just fine without them. If I had it to do over again I would move the mounting hardware a tad closer together. ... show more

    • Poor mounting system will not hold holder on the wall

This product is so poorly designed that I can almost not believe it. The bracket to attach to wall does not hold the product securely on the wall. You mount the bracket with two up facing fingers on the wall and then simply slide the towel rack, ring or any TP holder, etc. down on it. Since there is absolutely no locking set screw or other mechanism, the ring or bar just slides back off the bracket every time you attempt to use it. You get the towel ring with the towel every time you lift the towel to remove it. Seriously a terrible design. All these Delta accessories use this "New and improved" mounting system that pops right off when any lift is applied to the accessory. ... show more

This set looks very pretty, but it is cheaply made. Middle section to hold the toilet paper is very fiddly. You have to open it up to make it fit into the sockets on either side. The spring inside (if there is one) isn't strong enough to open it back up once you have closed it to get it in between the sides. Additionally, I have had to tighten the screws underneath twice now, and it's only been up for 3 weeks. Like I said, it looks pretty, but it's cheaply made. ... show more

This is a solid piece of bath hardware at a reasonable price. Installation is easy, you just have to drill a few holes. It attached solidly to the wall at two points so it will not get loose over time like the paper holder I replaced. Fit and finish are excellent. Looks like a much more expensive item. ... show more

The wall anchors cracked and flaked off. The screws easily strip. When we finally installed it using out own screws, the finishing bolt wouldn’t catch onto the bracket. Even if it did, the template was too wide and we would have to redrill it. Garbage.
