With two tall drawers on the bottom, a big box in the middle, and a dust vac on top, the lid of the big box opens up and rests perfectly on the handle of the cart. Even when you have the hose out of the vac, it sits perfectly on the cart handle with the big box lid open. This cart makes the lid of the Tstak big box way better. Now I can mount magnetic strips to the inside of the lid and access them easily. It glides around nice and easy. It feels very solid. 10/10 5 stars 2 thumbs up ... show more

I like this Dewalt TSTAK cart. It is strong and sturdy, I have a stack of five TSTAKs now and will be getting about 3 more to connect. I move it around the house to work on my crafting and to get it out of my way.

What sold me on this cart was a review someone posted saying it was worth it. It is, afterall, pretty pricey. But from what I saw on Amazon, this tool box carrier cart (when you get the other items) was the beefy-est! But it's not perfect. And some may question the cost. I originally purchased a Like New one that was damaged. And that first impression left me on the fence on whether this is worth it or not. It is beefy, but has some design flaws. For one, I have the VI tool box and you can't open the tool box when it's attached to the cart. It's not that I need the box completely open, but it would have been nice to get enough room to pull a tool out quickly. It's not enough room for anything but a hand. Secondly, the strap downs look beefy but have felt useless. It would have been a better design of the strap downs could be used in various angles. That functionality is lost. Finally, just cause the front wheels move 360 degrees means this cart is easy to maneuver. I wouldn't like it to look like a suit case with four spinners, but I still wish it moved around better. It probably doesn't help that the front lip is IMO abount and inch too wide. Overall though, I decided to keep it for the pros: 1) it organizes my tools better. It's nice having them all in one space. Need more boxes though. 2) the back wheels are beefier than anything else I saw on Amazon.. If they were more like rubber caster wheels (like on those collapsible wagons people use at Costco), this thing would have been perfect. And 3) it's built pretty tough. So far. I still would like better functionality and improved handling for the cost. Lastly, more attachment/upgrade features would be nice for the price. So for me overall I like it. But I can see not width justifying the cost. ... show more

Makes moving the tstak cases in and out of job sites so much easier. Can stack even higher temporarily when storing in the warehouse or garage.

I love this system!!!! It snaps together easily and It fits in my mini suv. I separate it into 2 separate pieces of my four pieces and load it into the suv and then the beautiful cart folds down and because it is SO light, I pick it up and put it next to the boxes. I love the way it climbs up stars with those perfect size wheels. the fact that it has 4 wheels that roll smoothly, makes it so easy to maneuver. I love that it can be used in a dolly position too.     • almost didn't buy the best thing in tstak!
I did not see the advantage of this until I actually used it. I am a cabinetmaker in San Francisco, and the first time I got into an elevator with this it became my new favorite thing. The primary advantage is that you don't need to lean it back like a hand cart. Having never used anything like this, I didn't know what an advantage that was, but having a small footprint, and not constantly needing to be "balanced" leaning back make it 100 times easier to navigate through small spaces - especially when you need to hold a door open with one of your hands. You have to be a little careful with the small front wheels so they don't snag on cords, etc., but still way better than a regular hand cart. I almost didn't buy this because It seemed too expensive for what it was, now it's my favorite part of the t-stak system. And I use spot behind the boxes for my levels, which is a huge bonus. It would be perfect, but the fact that you can't open the lids of the bottom boxes while they are on the cart is annoying. Still, if this broke, I would buy a new one on the way home from work. ... show more
