  • I buy mobile one on Amazon now same price as walmart but i can also order filter brand too
Style: Full Synthetic Configuration: 5W-30
This is way easier knowing when oils due to change have Amazon bring it to my home along with the motorcraft filter I need which is hit or miss to find at Walmart. Mobile 1 cost same as walmart so this is way better for me. I been using Mobile 1 for decades I maintain all my cars and keep them for many years I have run 200,000 to 300,000 miles on my cars and trucks they just keep running and running I blame Mobile 1 for keeping them running. I dod all my kids oils as well I have maintained many cars for many years and have all great results. ... show more

  • I use the best oil I can
Style: Full Synthetic Configuration: 0W-20
It’s is more important to change your oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles or every six months than anything else you do for your car. I also try to use the best full synthetic oil on the market. The cleaner you keep the inside of the motor the longer your cars engine will last, period. Since about 2012 auto makers were forced to use low te toon rings and any sludge that burns in the oil control rings starts the engine down the path of oil burning, and that signals the end of your car. Auto makers tell you every 10,000 mile oil changes, but that will only get you past your warranty period. Remember they sell cars. They need you to buy cars ... show more

  • Yup, it's oil.
Style: Full Synthetic Configuration: 0W-20
I switch between Castrol Edge and Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy Full Synthetic Motor Oil 0W-20 for my Gen 5 Honda CRV. It doesn't seem to care which one I use. Honda doesn't even require a full synthetic for the 1.5 L turbo. You can use dino. So I suspect both are better than the car needs, but since it's a turbo I decided to stick with full synthetic. Bottom line for my car is as long as I use the correct weight oil and it has the API certification it's fine, but why cheap out on oil. ... show more

  • You can never go wrong with Full Synthetic motor oil from Mobil 1
Style: Full Synthetic High Mileage Configuration: 5W-20
I have tested the top 15 different motor oils on a couple of very sensitive temperatures of breakdown. As well I know that this oil will run my truck for 50,000 miles when used along with my oil by pass filter. I can't say enough about this product.

  • Great product. Great Price.
Style: Full Synthetic Configuration: 15W-50
Purchased to be used in hydrostat transmission of a cub cadet riding mower. Only need two quarts but get 5 here, and would pay much more that this for it locally.

  • Love it
Style: Full Synthetic Configuration: 5W-20
I mean who really knows if this is the best oil around? What I do know is Mobil1 was the first synthetic oil out there, I've been using it since the 90's and my 2002 Honda with 200,000 miles on the clock is still going strong with a regular 3000 mile diet of this stuff. Very happy so far and looking forward to many more thousands of miles to go. I'll let you know when the honeymoon ends. ... show more

  • Always change your oil at 3000 miles not 10K
Style: Full Synthetic Configuration: 5W-30
Many of todays cars and trucks are equipped with VVT. The oil passages for variable valve timing are very small and plug up easily with sludge. Change your oil at 3000 miles, using a high quality oil filter, changing your air filter will help save you thousands in engine damage. Pay for the oil now or pay for car repairs later. ... show more

  • How do you really rate engine oil?
Style: Full Synthetic Configuration: 0W-20
It's not as if any of us have sophisticated Labs that we can test microscopic metal wear. All I can say is I think it's worth it to buy a name brand. Even though most oils come out of just a few select refineries for the entire country, I think there is a brand quality control process. There are some brands, well they are basically generics, that I will avoid because of the things I've read about them. One brand I will avoid comes from one of the big warehouse membership stores. And that happens to be their name brand. As far as mobile one, it's probably fine. Like I say no one here has the ability to actually tell you the quality of a particular motor oil. And even with an off-brand that didn't provide as much protection as a name brand, someone wouldn't be able to tell a difference for tens of thousands of miles if even that. So like I say I'm just going to stick to name brands whether it's this brand or some other brand with a good reputation. ... show more
