Fits my 3rd generation 4Runner like a glove! Love it! And it was relatively easy to install (remove panel below steering wheel, pop out plastic placeholder from vehicle, wire up this new switch, click it in place, put panel back on...done). I have this wired up to a relay that powers some LED off-road lights on the front. I probably didn't need a relay, because this switch could probably handle the load fine --rated to 20 amps--but this allows me to expand to more lights without rewiring later or having to worry about power handling and such. ... show more

Middle pin is power in. Pin next to it is power out. Pin off away from the others is ground for the LED. I have two of these. One is defective and shorts between the ground pin and power pins when turned on... sparks fly.. not good. For my defective one I just dont use the built in light. Interestingly, for both switches when using a continuity checker will say all 3 pins are connected to each other when the switch it powered on.. I guess there is enough resistance though that it doesn't short on my working one... still kinda sketchy and not something I had seen before . I had one as a switch for a light bar I added to my snow blower. The other on my lawn tractor for a light bar. ... show more

I have a 2013 Kia Forte EX and I wanted to add a switch for an accessory. Unfortunately the Kia Forte doesn't come with any extra switch panel spots except for where stock applications should go - meaning you can't just simply pop them out and cut a hole because they were made for specific uses. I took a chance ordering this, based on the provided measurements I had a feeling it would be slightly too small. I was correct, it doesn't click into place, but it does fit snug. I may add a drop of glue, but for the most part I think it's going to stay put, especially once I have the wires on it. If you have a 2013 Kia Forte also know that this will ONLY fit in the middle spot of your switch panel. It will not fit in the left or right slot without doing modifications to the switch and/or panel. ... show more

    • I Paired Four of these Switches with the Rugged Ridge Black Left Side A-Pillar 4-Switch Pod.

The Rugged Ridge side A-pillar switch pod will work with this switch. Rugged Ridge makes similar switches but I like the shape of these better. The directions that come with the switch are clear and so they are easy to connect. The power for the lamp light comes from the wire going to the relay. There is also one terminal on the back that needs to go to a ground connection. So there are three terminals on the back; Power In, Power Out, Lamp ground. The terminals are standard size and easy to connect terminals to. You will have to get your own terminals and wire; there is no wiring harness for the switches. The plastic for these switches seems a little light weight but other reviewers have indicated no long-term problems. ... show more

These rockers rock. They work good, look good and the wiring is clear and easy. My only issue is that everywhere I looked, including here, and several Jeep sites, says that these are a direct fit for my 2004 Jeep Wrangler. I was able to get them in with a little effort and some fear that I was going to break something. As you can see in the photos, they aren't quite flush at the bottom. It was a bit of a struggle to get them in the existing holes without modifying the opening in my dash panel. I am perfectly satisfied with the fit for my purposes, but if this was a paying job, or an install for someone else, I would have to break out the dremel tool and modify the panel (on the back). switch works great with a westin led bull bar for my 17 Tacoma and wanted to say thanks to the company for answering my questions almost immediately and telling me which pin was which and its on the box as well definitely worth the 10 dollars or so I paid for it

This switch worked great! Did exactly what I wanted it to do, which was control the function of my fog lights I'd recently installed in my Jeep. This switch lights up a bright blue when in use and this is useful because sometimes when getting out of your vehicle, you forget to switch off your fogs. This is bright enough that you will usually notice before you shut your door, especially at night.     • It works... but it's not really blue and needs minor trimming.

Required some minor trimming as this is slightly bigger than your typical switch holes. Probably only by 1-2 mm. The blue light is not really blue. It's really light blue and almost feels like it has a hint of green. I got this to replace a green colored switch since most of my lights are blue. This did not help that much. Don't expect the blue to be a true blue. I wanted it to match my blue colored dash lights, but it doesn't. In the end, it works fine and is of acceptable quality. I'll try a different manufacturer next time though. ... show more
