Well I suppose its about time to actually review this mic considering how long I've had it. I purchased this mic in 2016 and for the last 7 years it has yet to let me down. This mic taken an unhealthy amount of abuse flying off my desk more times than I can count (teenage gamer rage), and traveled with me throughout my life. Between gaming and work for those last 7 years I could estimate I've used this mic for roughly 18,000 hours and its still going strong. It can be a little finicky to set up correctly to reduce background noise, but if your using discord or the Logitech software this is a breeze. Not to mention the sound quality is surprisingly good with a small amount of tweaking. If I had one gripe about this product it would be the USB connection to the mic can be a little weak but I blame that on myself and my younger years. If you are considering purchasing this mic I highly recommend it. For the price of this mic the value is immeasurable. ... show more

I don't know anything about microphones but this was recommended as a starter mic. When I saw it on sale for Black Friday I thought I would give it a try. It is well-built and very easy to use. I don't know much about mic patterns but I found the information on their site. I did a comparison test - Yeti vs headphones mic to see how much of a difference it made and it was night and day. Good sound quality and little background noise picked up. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants to do podcasts, voiceovers, etc. ... show more
