  • Better than the rest, but still has room for improvements
Style: UC Optimized (Standard) Color: Stereo Speaker
I didn't get this for X-Mas and Santa Claus did not deliver one to me. However, this is an amazing item that would be just as great as something I would imagine to be delivered directly by Santa Claus! It's expensive, but I feel like the build quality is there as long as I take care of it. I prefer the dual ear pads for business usage instead of those other models with just one ear pad. The weight of the entire headset is pretty light, maybe not as light as a single-sided ear pad headset but it's not heavy compared to one of those serious music over-the-ear style headphones. I would not wear this to the gym to workout, because I feel these might not hold tight enough against the head while you jog on the treadmill. Was able to connect the headset to both my PC and iPhone, however, I initially had trouble finding a way to switch between the two devices. I contacted their support team by phone and was able to get a hold of a team member. He explained that the company is still working on the latest version of the software. He advised that I download version 1.0 from and install that instead. Once I installed it, I was able to navigate to the "Bluetooth" section to Disconnect or Connect the device depending on what I wanted. It's a decent workaround while they work on the existing latest version of the software for iOS Bluetooth and PC USB connectivity. Battery life has been pretty fantastic so far, but I have used it only for a few days. Today was not too busy for me so I spoke using the headphones for a couple hours only. Left it uncharged all day (10+ hours) and when I pressed on the button to check battery life the digital voice said, "battery full". Not sure if this power status is true or not, but I guess I could leave it unplugged for a couple days to test? I'll leave it unplug for another day or so and if it still does not drain any batter then the digital voice status generated by the headset might be wrong. The headset feels comfortable wearing it for several hours at a time. I do feel a little warm around the ears after two hours straight, but nothing major (expected). It's a work headphone so I have not tested music or game. I have Sony headphones for those other types of activities. The mic is pretty awesome, it is clear and people have no issues hearing me. The background noise is held to a minimum. The boom mic is slick and swivels up and down, and you can wear it either side of the ear. It has a magnet that clamps to the top of the headset if you are not using it. SUPPOSEDLY you can mute the mic if you swivel the mic boom to the top....? I haven't tested it, but I don't care. It would be a bonus, but not important to me. I mute the mic by software or by pressing on the "down" volume button on the headset for a 1 or 2 seconds. The mute button on the headset works when you are on an active call, but it does not seem to mute if there is no active call going on. The busy light signal on the side where the mic boom is located turns on occasionally? I thought it only worked with Bluetooth, but one time I saw it light up when I just completed a call from PC USB connection to my VOIP system. Not sure why it was lit up, but I disabled it because it feels a bit gimmicky. I don't expect people to actually "know" that I'm on the call just by seeing the red circle light up. It's not bad though, I don't have any negative opinions about it. The USB to Micro USB cable that comes with it is long enough for me to connect and use with my PC. It's not super lengthy (slightly under 5 feet, between 1.2 to 1.5 meters?), but good enough to be used while you are sitting close to your laptop. Just do not expect that you can walk around your desk with the USB cable attached. One feature request would be to be able to view the battery charge percentage from Jabra Direct software? That would be nice if the headset's digital voice status is not accurate. Overall, I believe this device is expensive but it does seem to be of high quality material. The sound quality is excellent as far as conversation goes. The ease of connectivity is fantastic. The mute is easy to activate compared to other generic headsets. Highly recommended! Update (8/05/2019): I am giving this product a 4 stars instead of 5, because I just found out that the headset was down to 5% battery this morning. The software popped up a notification, but when I pressed the button on the right side of the headset the digital voice stated "battery full". I do not agree to be mislead on this information, so minus one star of an otherwise great product. It is still a recommended product, but I hope the battery does not short out in the near future. ... show more

  • Freedom to move again!
Style: MS Teams Optimized Color: Black
I work from home and I am constantly taking phone calls or video calls. I didn’t like constantly being tethered to my desk. I wanted to be able to get up and stretch my legs without worrying about jerking the wired headset off. It works flawlessly with Teams. A few coworkers had already purchased this headset and gave it raving reviews. If suddenly you headset starts “acting up”, check to see if an update is available. This happened to a couple of my teammates. I just check every couple of days to see if there are any updates available. Very happy with this headset! ... show more

  • Intermittent "robotic" voice - Disappointing return policy
Style: UC Optimized (Standard) Color: Stereo Speaker
UPDATE: Updating my rating after voicing my disappointment with their return policy. They got back to me very quickly after my email and told me that they would apply a "one time courtesy" replacement order where they would send out the replacement headset without me needing to first send the defective product. Also, I will not need to return the defective product. Upping my rating to 4 stars due to the quick response and the "one time courtesy" replacement. Docking 1 star for their original return policy. ----------------------------------------- Original review: I mostly use this headset on teleconference calls via my computer (Zoom, Google Meet). They have been working well until fairly recently where clients tell me my voice is coming through "robotically" and they cannot hear or understand what I am saying. The problem happens only intermittently and I cannot determine exactly what may be causing the issue or what may be triggering it. I reached out to Jabra support a couple of weeks ago. We communicated via email and they provided some steps to take to try and resolve the issue. After following the steps, it looked like the issue had been resolved, but then I ran into the issue again with a client. I reached out to support again via email and they recommend that it would be better at this point to call support, which I did. The support rep walked through a few diagnostic steps with me and then concluded that there probably is a defect in the microphone wiring on the headset. Because they are still under warranty he recommended I submit a submit a warranty support form to get a replacement headset. I submitted the warranty support form and I got a reply that I needed to return my defective headset before they could send out a replacement product. Also, I would be responsible for the shipping costs for returning the product. Well, that just won't work for me. First off, I have had these headphones for over a year and I don't have the origin box. Also more importantly, I need the headset for daily teleconference calls and can't wait for weeks for a replacement pair. I have dealt with other manufacturers where I needed to deal with a defective product and I can't recall being told I needed to return the product before getting the replacement sent. Usually they will ship the replacement and then if they don't receive the defective product back in a certain timeframe, they will charge you. I am disappointed in Jabra's return policy. It's antiquated and completely unreasonable. Based on my experience I will never buy a Jabra product again. ... show more

  • Fantastic Noise Cancellation
Style: MS Teams Optimized Color: Black
I’ve used these working from home for 2 months now and think these are worth the money based on noise cancellation alone. Recently, we had our floor replaced. While working at home, the demolition of existing floor was done with a jackhammer/air hammer. My office does not have a door to close and the demo was taking place about 10 feet from my desk. The people on the other end of my Teams calls claimed they could not hear anything but my voice, even thought I couldn’t hear myself talking! I didn’t need to yell into the microphone or even raise my voice; I talked in my normal, “inside voice” tone. I do wish they were more comfortable, though. After a few back-to-back calls, I’m ready to take them off and give my ears a rest. I do adjust them a lot when wearing them as well; change the headband position, move the earpieces around, etc. All-in-all, I’m pleased with the purchase and recommend them for users with barking dogs, loud or noisy office spaces, working remotely in loud places or people that want a quality headset you can count on for a professional conversation via Teams or Zoom. ... show more
