I got three of these years ago and they were great, but they won’t take iOS 16, so I recommend looking for something younger.

Mostly OK, however it has a tendency to freeze up during operation. I purchased this unit with the intention of only playing games, etc. without having to load my iPhone. For the most part everything is fine except during the middle of playing a game, it freezes up. My life does not alter because of it, but it is somewhat annoying. Also, the battery does gets used up rather quickly so I have to keep it plugged in for longer usage time. ... show more

    • Good performance, but very poor battery
The ipad works perfectly, it does not have any kind of problem at the hardware level. But the battery if it is quite deficient, it lasts very little. You have to buy a replacement. Otherwise the ipad is very good. It did not come, so scratched, just minimal things.

Had a previous version of this and gave it to my daughter. I bought this one and am blown away, it was incredibly well priced and came completely refurbished, brand new condition with a case and great screen protector. I restored from iCloud and up and running. This was by far the best way to buy a refurbished iPad, with a 90 warranty! Way better then eBay, this is a screaming’ deal and a product you can trust!     • Difficult to charge
The iPad is great when it charges. From day one it has had the most finicky charging issues. No matter the cable/outlet/charging block. It will repeatedly turn on when plugged in and repeat the cycle at 1% for hours. OR it will sit dead with the battery symbol for hours. It took over a month of repeated charging to get it to 100% charge. Otherwise when it’s charged it works like a charm. ... show more

    • Limited Warranty
I bought this product in November. In March, it started having issues with the touch screen, seemingly responding to multiple or random touches when there was only one finger on the screen. At times, the "slide to unlock" function would not operate because the sliding finger gesture was not properly recognized. Operating system reloads and resets did not help for long. When I took it to the Apple Store, touch screen diagnostics showed completely normal function. I was told my serial number had been sold "as is, no warranty" by Apple and that I would have to get warranty service from Amazon. Of course, by March, Amazon's 90-day warranty period had expired. Apple offered the option of replacing the touch screen (at what I considered to be significant cost). So far, a hard (10-minute) power-off reset as suggested by Apple has been sufficient to restore most functionality when the device starts acting up. Otherwise, I'm completely happy with this iPad and the external keyboard I got with it, and I use it several hours daily. ... show more
