It works great. My kitten accidentally wet the bed and it was smelly. This saved my mattress and no more scent issues. Bought one for each mattress. I prefer this highly o er the plastic ones. It was incredibly easy to put on, and it won't crack with age as the plastic ones do. It is warm unlike the plastic one and feels like a coY sheet especially once your cozy. It could potentially replace flannel sheets but I will put the sheet back on. It's nicely crisp looking in appearance and easy to spot clean. The first purchase was for a twin bed. Mistake. As there was no wiggle room. My next purchase was a queen size for the same twin bed The full was not available. Turns out that there is plenty of wiggle room and it fits the bed perfectly. I know you're going to say far too big. When you use such a protection, you don't want it to rip or struggle to put on.
