After getting rid of bed bugs once you will take every precaution to never go through that again. Once the exterminator was finished and the bug killer had settled I bought these for both queen beds (which included the main infested mattress), the box springs, and our soon-to-be-born son's crib. No bugs got back in. We did find a small tear a few months after ridding the house of bugs and I got another one to put on the mattress, but I think it ripped when we moved it on the metal frame. I actually ended up giving my little brother our old bed and box springs with these on it and he was fine with it. They dont just keep out bed bugs, but mites and dust too. I will never own a bed without getting a cover for it ever again. ... show more

The material is very nice. It also stretches. If you are just looking for a dust cover, ok. But If you look at the seams they are not tightly sewn along with no double or overlapped material inside. A slight pull on seams stretches enough to see small openings. There is no way this will keep out microscopic dust mites or other allergens, never mind bed bugs. Returning. ... show more

Updated: The cover is bigger and loose for the box spring. Initially I thought it would not be any problem. But after 4 months bugs are back again And guess what they infested on the folds. If the cover fitted peefectly then bed bugs would not be able to infest. So I am really dissapointed. Initial review:So far so good. No bed bug bite since using it. ... show more

I've never had bedbugs and I plan to keep it that way. I have these on all of the beds in my house. It's a small price to pay for piece of mind and to protect my mattresses from bugs, mites, dust, etc... Way better than the plastic covers I slept on as a bed wetter when I was little :) You definitely need to use these with a padded mattress cover because putting your fitted sheet straight over these is not enough to keep you from sweating. When ordering the "split queen" set, they sent me the incorrect size (a regular queen) but I understand that mistakes happen. It's on its way back and I am going to re-order again. ... show more

Love we were able to find this for our split queen box spring. It appears to be very well made and looks like it will last a long time. We hope to never find out its water resistance, but right now it looks like it will do a good job. we washed it before using it and it washed and air dried / line dried very well ... show more

They went on easily with help from my husband. (Maneuvering a queen size mattress is a two person job.) When taking the covers out of the package, they were a little crinkly and felt plastic-like so I was worried they would be noisy and hot on the bed. But no! I'm not even aware they are there. And so far, a week later, no more bug bites... ... show more
