  • Easy install for the average homeowner
Color: Arctic Stainless Size: Without Soap Dispenser Style: Standard
First off, the hardware is great, but if you are installing it yourself, instead of hiring the plumber ... it's do-able. On the page for the faucet, it includes an installation video ... watch it before the faucet is delivered. It will give you insight into removing the old faucet. Removing the old faucet, plus the video will make installation a lot easier, but the installation instructions must also be used. The installation instructions had a tip that made bleeding the lines before hooking up the sprayer easy for an individual ... the video showed two people doing it. Also, reading the instructions helps you determine which items don't apply to your installation. I had several items left over that would be appropriate for someone switching from a three hole install to a single hole install. Since I was starting out with a single hole, those parts were not needed by me. One more thing, they provide a tool to tighten down the nut used to hold the faucet in place. Given the tight spaces involved, that tool made installation much easier ... wish I had something like that for the uninstall ... but the nut for the old faucet was a different size than the new faucet ... but you might hold off uninstall until you get your new faucet, you might get lucky and fine nut for both is the same size. Again, very pleased with the quality of the hardware, the instructions and video were lots of help, it took me about three hours total to uninstall the old faucet and install the new faucet ... I'm sure a plumber would have been much faster, but also quite expensive. ... show more

  • Seems like good quality, but not industrial grade. Don’t make them like they use to…
Color: Chrome Size: Without Soap Dispenser Style: Standard
First off, decades ago (1970?) it seems like faucets were made of ALL metal except for a few small parts. Currently the trend is plastic or a combination of plastic and metal. This unit is a mix of both. It feels okay but just a bit cheap and “lightweight”. I’m only suggesting that you can’t get the same quality that was available back then. These changes aren’t necessarily due to lowering costs, but it seems you don’t/won’t get a lifetime of use from this newer crop of faucets. There may be a few models available that have industrial/commercial grade quality build, but I don’t know how I could filter and search through the plethora of brands/models to get what I’m looking for. That being said, this seems like an average faucet. The design and function are nominal. My new sink is large enough that the angle that the water comes out isn’t too far out. The spray isn’t as powerful as I expected but will work fine. The stream is nice and uniform. The soap dispenser isn’t great, but works. One point to make… These people that are complaining about the electronic “high tech” versions of these faucets… I am laughing at their whining! I can’t understand why you’d need such a simple gadget with a high-tech feature. It’s just a faucet! My wife got a chuckle when I told her they make a faucet that has a red/blue light that changes to tell you if the water is hot or cold. Worth an extra $100 ? LMAO Then you’re telling me it’s connected to the household Wi-Fi ? Lord have mercy! Is life really that hard? You gotta be kidding me. I guess I’d recommend it. It’s probably as good as Moen, American Standard or other similar brands. ... show more

  • Great Faucet - Hard to Get Old One Off
Color: Arctic Stainless Size: Without Soap Dispenser Style: Touch2O
Bought this new single piece Delta faucet to replace my older 15-year old 4-hole faucet. The old one consisted of the main stem, the on/off handle, soup dispenser, and sprayer with each occupying a separate hole in the granite — a complete waste of space to be honest but that was the style 15 years ago. Bought this new Delta faucet and 3 each hole covers so I could do a single hole installation. Great Delta faucet- feels sturdy, solid, and heavy duty. My wife loves the color sensor for water temp (fades from blue to red depending on how hot the water is), and the light touch “tap on” “tap off” feature as well as the very long extension of the sprayer hose if needed (seems like about 3ft reach). Can’t find any negatives as of yet. It definitely does NOT feel cheap like many plastic based faucets. Highly recommend it!!! Me and my son tried to take out the old one but eventually got to a point we couldn’t do anything due to lack of space where the nuts are holding things down under the granite and behind the sink basin (hard to reach and regular tools don’t work). If you’re doing a DIY job, be sure to buy one of those 8-in-1 red handled faucet tools sold on Amazon (around $14.00) before you start. Not having this 8-in-1 faucet tool, which I didn’t know about at the time, is why I got stuck with the old faucet removal. Once I got stuck I called Morris Jenkins (plumbers), and they were able to come out that same day. They got the old one out, and the new one installed for about $284 and 2 hours of labor. If I was doing it all over again, I would have just let Morris Jenkins do all the labor for $284 and I would have not tried to do any of it myself. The instructions on the new faucet looked a little complicated and you will probably have to remove most of the white drain pipe under your sink in order to get back in there to be able to work. I would say the whole old faucet removal and new faucet install is about a 4 out of 5 difficulty for most DIY people. ... show more

  • Exceeded expectations and Touch functionality is great
Color: Arctic Stainless Size: Without Soap Dispenser Style: Touch2O
Moved into a new house and the old owner had a motion activated faucet in the kitchen, which was a bit frustrating to use. It also starting leaking so we were ready to upgrade. At first we looked at other motion activated models, but I detest the experience in public restrooms where you look like an idiot waving and dancing trying to get the thing to work. We were pretty set on just going with a basic model. However, found the great review on this Touch model, which would allow us to have automatic turn on, but without motion hassle. Watched the video on the product page and we were hooked. Have had it for over a month now and it's fantastic. It comes on instantly, has great pressure, the magnet/spray attachment is solid, and looks modern in our kitchen. Highly recommend. ... show more
