Love this rug. The pile is a nice shag, not too long, but long enough to look plush. The color is not too white, but off white without being too yellow. After arriving rolled up, it flattened out easily in one day. I ran my vacuum over it to lift the pile and did not have tons of lint picked up in the vacuum. I also liked that once the pile was lifted, it does not flatten with every footprint. It stays looking nice even after walking on it. I was concerned about buying something like this without seeing first and possibly having to return it, but I am very happy with this and the price is extremely reasonable for the quality of this product. ... show more

    • The pile is pretty short but it's a nice rug
I bought this for my office to help keep the echo down in my otherwise all-hard-surfaced room. I wanted something relatively thick and shag like to help absorb sound. This fit the bill - sort of. I've had it for 2 years and despite being white, it has held up well. I roll my chair over the edge frequently and it shows no sign of excessive wear from that, so that's GOOD. The "bad" is that the pile is very short. Like, quarter inch? It's not nearly as fluffy as it looks in the picture. The GOOD about that is that a standard vacuum can generally be run over it okay and that makes cleaning a lot easier. We have a much thicker one in our living room (that was also about twice the price to be fair) and it cannot be cleaned with a standard vacuum so we have to shake it out a lot. For the price, it's pretty much about as good as you'd expect, maybe a good bit more. The pile looks kind of like yarn, if that helps you. It's not anything super fancy. For what I paid, with free prime delivery to boot, I'm very pleased with it. I only rate it 4 stars because well, it wasn't QUITE what I was looking for but as long as you keep my words in mind, you might find it to be 5 star with the right expectations! 2 years, white color, no discoloration.     • Nice big rug, but not sure how to clean it
We bought this rug to lay over our laminate flooring in the den so the munchkins didn't have to play on the cold floor. Being that it's shag I didn't have the forethought to consider how we would clean it when the drinks and food are inevitably spilled on it. It has been vacuumed successfully but if anything more than dry food is dropped on it I don't know what we'll do. It's nice and soft, and this size is HUGE.     • Nicer than I expected!
I was nervous about ordering a rug that I couldn't see in person before buying. Other similar rugs on Amazon had terrible quality control problems, so I wasn't sure what I would get. I was pleasantly surprised that this rug looked exactly as what was pictured. It is perfect for my baby's room. The rug slides around more on our hardfloors compared to all other rugs we own, but for the price, I can't complain. I can easily get a non-slip rug pad to put underneath it. Upon arrival I immediately put the unrolled rug outside to air out. I didn't notice a smell, but considering it is for my baby's room, I wanted to be safe. After about 5 hours I brought it inside and placed a large object on each corner so that the curled up edges would lay flat. By morning the edges were no longer curled up. The carpet fibers were also quite flat at first. I just fluffed the fibers with my hand and it looked beautiful. ... show more

    • Love this Shag Carpet but be warned the color is NOT Lilac Purple, it is more Pink Lilac
I ordered the lilac purple and on my laptop it looked lilac purple. However, be warned, this carpet is not lilac purple it is more pink lilac, I have seen actually lilacs this very color. It's a very pretty shade of pink. Initially I was disappointed, but I like the color, it does go with my bedroom colors and I didn't want to have to return it. The shag rug is very thick and oh so soft on my bare feet. I love the way it feels. I just moved into an apartment and the floors are all very hard and carpeted with some kind of think carpeting, I think so wheel chairs can easily go over it. So this shag rug helps give me a soft carpet in my bedroom. This carpet is really really nice for the price. I only gave it 4 stars because of the color not matching the description. ... show more
