When you use a home shredder as much as I do, it's important to ensure you have LOTS OF OIL ON HAND to keep those cutters "happy". Also, there's no guarantee the local "office supply" shop(s) will have this (or similar) stuff in stock. Performance: this stuff WORKS, AND WORKS WELL! when "regularly" used your shredder's cutters will maintain their "shreddability" (especially with the "better quality" shredder units). The cappable tip virtually ELIMINATES any chances of spills, and (within reason), allows "horizontal" (i.e., non-optimal :) ) bottle storage in "tight" plaes. the shredder works flawlessly and easily chews up to its rated load. remember to get some oil and use this periodically. if you hear the blades struggling, then you put in too much paper. this thing eats staples like they're non-existent....very satisfied.
