The media could not be loaded. This set will cost you over $500 a year to own. It looked so great for the first year. It began to break down by the beginning of year two and was complete garbage by the end of the year. The material completely disintegrated as you can see in the pictures. However, the cushions still look brand new. There was no rust on the frame as the set was inside all the time. One picture is of the set in the land fill where it belongs. I thought I had purchased this set at Costco. I took a piece of the resin in to show them how the set was falling apart. Without question they said bring it back for a full refund. Then we looked it up and it didn't appear on my past purchases. Hence I looked on Amazon and found the purchase. I called the manufacturer to tell them the resin material must be defective and asked if they would do anything for me. When I told them it was two years old they said the warranty was only one year and there was nothing they would do for me. I asked to speak with a supervisor. 20 minutes later I hung up and called back. The supervisor didn't apologize and merely said "The warranty is up". I see in the reviews that others have had the same problem. I just purchased a new set---from Costco. If it falls apart within five years they will replace it because they send it back to the manufacturer for a full credit...nobody messes with Costco! ... show more

    • Manufacturer Could Have Done This One thing Better

Very nice and sturdy and attractive. The entire set came in one box, and I thought, "How does this whole patio set fit into this one box?" They actually did a superior job of fitting all of the parts into this box and I had to cut the sides of the box to extract all the seats, cushions, etc. The pieces were intact and as with any product made from plastic wicker material, there were a couple of small imperfections in the finish, but nothing really noticeable. The loveseat only needed six bolts to assemble the seat to the rest of the body...simple! Please note that when doing the assembly on this and the other part which I will describe next, that it is important to NOT tighten the bolts into place until you have all of them set into their proper position...more on that in a moment. Once you have the two pieces aligned, then tighten everything. It took about five minutes. Here's where I get confounded and frustrated with the manufacturer: They did a fabulous job one packing all the parts with minimal assembly EXCEPT for the stupid table and the idiotic instructions to put that together. All of the parts for the table were separate and the darn thing required a lot of time and patience to assemble and get every stinking piece to align properly before tightening it all together. I forget, but I think there were like three dozen bolts, washers and nuts to get the sides and legs together prior to tightening the whole mess. This, I think, is a major oversight by the manufacturer. It didn't have to be a project taking two plus hours to assemble the table. Everything else was ready to go and then this monstrosity taking up a ton of time and several attempts to get all the various parts lined up. That said, I think this is a good set and they do provide the weight limits for the chairs, loveseat and the ottomans as well. ... show more

    • Comfortable furniture but lacks quality control

This set Looks great and fits my space very well. It is comfortable to sit in with firm, supportive cushions and a reassuring, sturdy frame. In the listing, the green cushions look too bright but not in the actual product. That was a pleasant surprise. There is not much to assemble and it was very simple. Having said that, I found some connections not lining up well, which shows poor manufacturing. I had read several reviews suggesting I keep all the screws very loose until all of them were in before tightening them all. That was a helpful tip and included in the instructions too. Inspite of that, the last couple of screws were a struggle to get in. The wicker is very loose in places and risks getting snagged in something. I had to get a replacement set because the first set arrived damaged. This was very poorly packaged with no spines in the huge box weighing 290 pounds. The box had holes, through which I could see damaged wicker. The delivery company was late and didn't provide sufficient communication. To my surprise, the replacement was well packaged with proper spines to reinforce every edge of the large box. It arrived in perfect condition and slightly ahead of schedule. It was a different delivery company than the first. This was an unnecessary waste of time and good product. But in the end, I am happy with the furniture. ... show more

I was happy with the weight and overall construction of the pieces but definitely agree that the sofa assembly is made extremely tough when the holes are 1/2"-1" apart and do not line up right at all. It took two of us to push, pull & tug in order to get them to line up; it wasn't easy. One of the ottomans started rusting about 1-1/2 weeks outside in Iowa weather. I'm writing the company to see if they will replace it. The cushions are nice quality and have held up so far (almost 2 months in). I secured them to the wicker by sewing a ribbon/string on the back to keep them from blowing away. I also did the same for the ottoman cushions because those do tend to slip when you put your feet up on them. I bought this as a Deal of the Day so it was a good 'deal' but rusting at this price (so soon) bothers me. Arranging delivery was a cinch, no problems there but I also stay home and am available throughout the day. ... show more
