In my search for the perfect stand for my 10.2” iPad, I purchased 3 different brands of tablet stands (Lamicall, Kabcon, and Saiji). In this review, I will summarize the pros and cons of each stand. Kabcon Tablet Stand: This stand is the largest and heaviest of the three stands (shown in the middle in pictures). This stand seems very well-built, but it is EXTREMELY difficult to open and move the holder even a small amount (the hinge is very tight, and the stand is not easy to adjust). The stand is very sturdy, and it is stable even on a bed. I can type or write with the Apple pencil on my iPad being held with this tablet stand without it moving or falling over. The stand allows your tablet to be viewed at an almost infinite number of angles. This stand is mostly made with metal (the “arms” are a metal-colored plastic). There are silicone rubber pads that protect your tablet (anywhere the tablet would rest on the stand). The biggest con about this stand is that the “tray” that holds the tablet is not deep enough to fit my 10.2” iPad in its case (a Zugu/Muse case). I have to remove my iPad from its case for this stand to hold it properly. Overall, this is my least favorite (and most expensive) tablet stand of the 3 I tried. I do not recommend this product. Saiji Tablet Stand: This stand is the smallest and lightest of the three stands (shown on the left in pictures). This stand seems simplistic and basic, but it is well-made and holds my 10.2” iPad in its Zugu case very well. This stand is sturdy, and it is stable even on a bed. I can type or write with the Apple pencil on my iPad being held with this tablet stand without it falling over, but it can slide back on a table when pushing on it. This stand can only hold my tablet at one angle, but it holds the tablet well in both portrait and landscape modes. When folded, this stand is very small and light, and it is easy to take along anywhere. I like this stand and I recommend it – and the price is excellent! Lamicall Tablet Stand: This stand is not the biggest or the smallest, and it is not the heaviest or the lightest (shown on the right in the pictures). It is very well-made from all aluminum, with silicone pads on the tray where the tablet sits. The stand is very sturdy, and it is stable even on a bed. I can type or write with the Apple pencil on my iPad being held with this tablet stand without it moving or falling over. The stand allows your tablet to be viewed at an almost infinite number of angles, and it is easy to adjust. This Lamicall stand holds my 10.2” iPad in its Zugu case very well. This stand cannot be folded up completely (it will remain in an “L” shape). Overall, this is my favorite stand to hold my iPad. I absolutely love this stand! It is so sleek and really durable. I was thinking about getting a MacBook or Mac desktop instead of using my new IPad Air 2 for college, but this stand paired with the Anker Bluetooth keyboard is just what I needed to make my setup complete. The thought of being able to set up at home like a desktop, and still be able to easily grab my tablet and run makes me happy. All without having the added expense of a MacBook or a Mac. I definitely do not regret the decision to make this purchase and use my tablet as a desktop. A few things that really make this a great product. 1. I was worried that the hinge would be really loose and not hold up and keep my tablet in place. Well I was wrong, the hinge is really durable and strong. I do not foresee it ever loosening to the point that I am unable to use it. 2. I was worried about potentially scratching my new tablet because the stand is made of metal. The stand actually has pads on the bottom and the top, so your tablet never actually touches the metal. I was also concerned that I would not be able to use the stand if I decided to put a case on my tablet. I ended up purchasing a case and it works well even with the case on. If you are thinking about making this purchase, I would go for it! You don't have much to loose, I mean it doubles as a tablet stand, and a phone stand which is nice, and the price point is great too. ... show more

I just received the tablet stands from Lamicall. I find this stand to be sturdy and very well built, and in the images I am using the IPP 10.5 and Kindle Paperwhite, and for TStand the IPP 9.7. ... show more

I'm not blown away or honestly real impressed with this product. Maybe my expectations were too high due to the insanely high ratings. The basic, simple stand I received is slightly bent and leans enough to the left that it is impossible not to notice. It is relatively strong and is not without its merit in terms of providing a simple very basic stand for your tablet or iPad. It does its job pretty well and no more. I'm leaving my original review up but amending a few things. First and most important is how impressed I am with Lamicall customer service. Shortly after reviewing the product which I don't feel was overly critical I was contacted by Lamicall and offered a full refund without returning the stand. I did not ask for anything much less such a generous offer. I never contacted them and aside from the lean in the stand had no reason or issue to warrant contacting them. I feel like this is far above and beyond the norm and very much worth mentioning. 2nd thing is being a bit unhappy with a bent or leaning stand I did not focus much on the positive aspects of this product. After the refund I figured I had nothing to lose and put some serious weight into trying to bend the stand back into position. It worked, not perfectly but good enough to use. The fact that it took the force I applied and is now still functional speaks volumes to the durability of the stand. It retained its ability to be adjustable and remain strong in holding any position. I like this stand quite a bit. Plenty of room for my iPad regardless of if its wearing a fat otterbox case or a slim folio case and is always securely able to hold the iPad in place.
