  • CUTE COOKER THAT IS PERFECT FOR 1 OR 2 PEOPLE AND FITS ANYWHERE!
i love this cooker. The heat is balanced, it is simple and easy to use. The legs were the hardest to put together because not all holesneed to come together and some just slip together but once that is done the assembly goes much quicker and is well worth the trouble! It is small and light and makes moving it around very easy! It is nice looking, It starts right up with one click and is proof that smaller things can come it very beneficial packages! I love its simplicity and did a great job on the first meal of steak that was cooked on it! Just as good as any more expensive versions but highly complicated and does just what you need! I highly recommend for anyone that just wants the benefit of having the advantage of over the grill taste at a reasonable price. ... show more

  • Great Grill For The Money!
Summary: Overall this product is absolutely great, it exceeds my expectations for what I paid. It may only have the two burners; however, this little thing cooks with a capital C! I've noticed the heat seems to be very consistent (make sure to level your grill if yours isn't). I haven't noticed any hot spots during my use of it. The assembly is a long one; however, the documentation is very good in the instructions. I recommend going slow and not tightening down things until you have ensured it's straight and level. I would recommend this to a friend who is looking for a no frills grill that does the job on a budget. Assembly: Let's just say that the engineer(s) who designed the parts and packaging earned every bit of his/her wages as far as packing efficiency. This entire grill is made up of parts no longer that ~6". Doing this by yourself I would say set aside at least 2 hours. Make sure that you take your time to ensure everything is straight before tightening down. There are parts of assembly it would greatly help to have two hands, particularly on the leg/stand section. Use: During my maiden voyage I didn't notice any hot spots on my grill while cooking burger patties. I haven't used my grill a very long time, so I can't attest to how it will stand up over time. What I can say is that I plan to keep my grill clean and to keep if covered (I live in Seattle) when not in use. From my experiences with past grills if you take care of them they typically have a long life. Cleaning: Cleaning this grill like all other grills I've had is a bit of a pain. Of course the grate comes out as do the burner covers; however, lower walls of the grill were covered in fat after cooking some patties. I was able to clean this up with some standard oven and stove cleaner. Make sure to test in a small spot out of sight prior to going crazy with this cleaner (it worked on mine fine without harm to the coating). There are a lot of points that are hard to get to without pulling the pins off the burner rails and moving them. While this can be done it seems like quit a bit of work for something gravity should do. ... show more

  • Decent grill
Box arrived in good condition and all the parts were there and in good shape. Unfortunately, it was terribly confusing and frustrating to put together. The directions have the parts labeled, but the parts themselves have no identifying labels as to a number or letter they match. After several hours and a few mishaps, it finally came together just fine. It’s the perfect size for what I needed—Just a few burgers and hot dogs on the weekends. Works great. ... show more

  • Fits a small space & cooks good food w/update
There are lots of photos of the grill itself in this listing and other reviews, so with my photo I'm simply trying to show you how it fits into a small living space. I have a very small, about 10' x 10' deck off of my kitchen that is great when the weather is nice. With space at a premium, I wanted a nice small grill that could do a decent steak, but not a tabletop model. This 2-burner seemed to fit the bill and, surprisingly, it is actually a nice little grill. It isn't overly thin metal, and doesn't have a cheap feeling at all. When you begin to assemble it, you'll never imagine how substantial and sturdy it will turn out to be in the end. For the price, I was expecting much less. The side shelves are strong ... I mean, put anything on them, they can handle it. The handle to lift the lid is big and stays cool to the touch, no matter how hot the grill gets or how long it burns. The wheels turn well and the whole unit is easy to move around. The bottle holder is a perfect fit for the 15 lb. exchangeable propane bottles that are available everywhere. Assembly took the better part of the afternoon, but it was a beautiful unseasonably cool day and there was classic rock, dancing and adult beverages may have been involved. Lay the parts out like the diagrams in the instructions show, and you're golden. It's just a lot of steps. The hardware is oddly grouped on a piece of cardboard, which makes you think you're out of something when there is another blister or two with that same piece located elsewhere on the cardboard. Anyway, the hardware was nice, all of the threads were good and nothing tried to strip out during assembly. There are no spares, so stay organized. It lit on the first try and after 5 minutes of warmup, I had a steak sizzling. I did wipe some canola oil on the grate with a paper towel, and there was zero sticking. Nice. The left-hand burner is the one that you have to turn on and light, with the right-hand burner being optional (unless you want to skip the automatic starter button and light only the right with a lighter). There is lots of grilling room -- some examples: 15 half-pound burgers or 12 ten-to-twelve-ounce ribeye steaks fit with no problem. It took me about 3 meals before I was familiar enough with the grill to cook everything the way I wanted it without much fuss. This has 1/3 of the burners of my big ol' prior grill, so I had to learn how to deal with the capabilities of a much smaller grill. I haven't been able to grill and get the meat done without closing the lid, even with both burners on high. Having never before grilled with a closed lid, there was a learning curve, but it wasn't too steep. 2-year update: still loving this grill. I use it at least every other day, pretty much year-round. It has held up beautifully outside and I don’t cover it or treat it with a lot of special care. The burner tubes will probably need to be replaced next year, they are showing oxidation and wear, but it’s really humid here so that’s expected. Overall, I’m very pleased. I think I’m only on my third tank of gas, so it’s economical for me to cook in this rather than heat up my kitchen. Please mark this review as helpful if it has been, that helps others see it too. Thanks! ... show more

  • Nice small grill, difficult to put together
This is a nice small grill, perfect if you're not going to need to cook a lot of food at one time. The instructions were very difficult to follow and the quality of nuts/bolts included were terrible. I stripped several bolts in the process of assembly.
