  • Size is important - consider the smaller size so your toes and ball of foot will be in the correct position. Hanging off.
Size: Medium (Pack of 1)
I did return these; but I wanted to write a review because I read almost every review before making this purchase. The issue with what size to get. If you look at the product picture there is a girl modeling them. Her toes are sticking out beyond the brace. I wear size 10 woman and ordered the recommended size Medium based on how the reviews read. I wish however I had ordered the size small. Here's why I would recommend this. My toes were about 1.5 inches from the end of the brace, which looked like they'd be just fine and they were but as I wore them through the night my toes needed to be off the foot bed of the brace, in fact, I spent much of the evening trying to lift my toes off for comfort that I was not sleeping well. There are two sizes of foot inserts you can place under the footbed which was helpful but I still felt like I needed my toes off entirely and that would have made it more comfortable perhaps. The ball that comes with it - Loved the ball - every morning I would step on them and give my feet a nice tingling massage - sure wish that I could keep them, even sleeping with/out the braces on I used these balls every morning for the light massage. I had two because both feet have Plantar Fasciitis. About the brace, these were surprisingly comfortable to wear at night. There weren't many reviews for people needing to wear two braces so I wanted to make sure I gave a review. Even though I tossed and turned having to wear them, the braces were always comfortable to wear, my feet and legs were well cushioned. I was only able to wear these to sleep for about 4 hours at a time. During the four hours I was tossing and turning. Maybe if I had bought the size smaller my toes would have allowed me to wear them longer. I started wearing them in the early evening while watching tv every night from about 7-10pm but the footbed was just not comfortable for me. I should probably try the smaller size but I'm not sure they're really making my condition any better. I've had the condition since May of 2017. The doctor said my feet would heal sometime between 8 - 13 months. i'm getting close to the deadline and still have the issue. I take two advil every night which helps me sleep through. Today, at day 30 I'm returning the braces, I tried them...and if I were to try them again, this is the brand I would get and I would try the smaller size next time. ... show more

  • kind of like taking shoes off after a long day
Size: Medium (Pack of 1)
I have had plantar fasciitis on and off for 7 years now. I only tried using inserts, some stretching, massaging and rest. If I did too much my PF would flare up, depending on the exercise. In my 7 years I never used night splints, but after a 13 days of non stop walking on my feet during a recent vacation I knew I needed to try something new to heal my feet after so much wear. I have PF in both feet, I think more severely in my right then left foot. I have been using these products for three weeks and have FINALLY started to see results! It took me a long time, about three weeks of use. I would unbuckle them in the middle of the night because i was waking up in pain from the stretch, I would just feel that need to release my foot out, kind of like taking shoes off after a long day. I first tried it with the wedges but then took it out because it hurt so much and my heel kept lifting so far out. I use them with out it now, and decided hey a gentle stretch is better then overdoing it. My straps are kept loose enough to fit two fingers inside and I can wiggle and move around. you should feel comfortable like a good pair of slip ons. I wear them every night, and now I'm down to being able to keep the right foot one on all night. I usually end up waking up and taking the left foot off in the middle of the night. I think its definetly worth keeping on with. I put them on while I watch tv and prop my feet up. Walking in them is tough but there is a bit of grit on the bottom so you can still kinda walk to the bathroom with them on (or even grab a glass of water!) I would say for the price it is definitely worth trying and adding to your routine. My feet still hurt a little bit but the pain is much better. Before I started this my calves were incredibly tight, especially near my ankle when I massaged them. Now they feel much more loose and fluid! When I first used it I was getting a lot of pain and didn't think it was working, but I really think you have to keep going and keep using it. I plan on trying to use this for 6 months consistently to maybe even a year! I just really want to stick to it and make sure I am gettin the best possible healing situation for my feet. I would recommend you try it, especially for the price. I was worried that i had PF from my weight and that nothing would really work but this is still helping me despite that. ... show more

  • Helps, but didn't heal
Size: Medium (Pack of 1)
This is my 3rd purchase on the search for a good foot splint. I needed toes to be free and not pulled on like may other products. This fit the bill. The velcro can scratch the other foot or catch on some fabrics. Comfort level is pretty good, but it can be annoying to change sleep positions with the large straps in the way. My foot always slides back in this (there's no brace by the heel) so I put cotton balls in the front end to push the angle part closer to the ball of the foot - that sort of works. I did notice it helped, but it did not completely heal. I think of it as a help for times when the feet are hurting badly on a consistent basis to help them feel better. I purchased a 2nd one, to help both feet at the same time, but quickly realized it was a mistake - if you need to get up at night, your balance is off and there's a risk of falling. So it's best to switch off. ... show more
