Listen, I've kissed a few frogs rug-wise (get it?). This one, though, is a winner. If it matters to you, it is assembled in the U.S., in South Carolina, I believe. What impressed me is that first, it comes rolled, not folded, so it lies flat from the beginning. It is really slip resistant, which for me is a real plus. I'm not that picky about color and looks, but it is good looking enough and the color is just right for my kitchen. It’s not the fanciest or highway quality (but you know that for the price). But it’s durable. The colors have remained true to when it was first purchased and, even with everyday food traffic, it doesn’t look shabby. It does shed a very little but nothing crazy.
