Some products just don't work out (forgive the pun) for all people. ICY rocket freeze flavor is pretty good. Not my favorite but it's pretty good. Effectiveness as energy, pre-workout pump etc is also pretty good. Again, not my favorite but no complaints. I feel like I've had most of every pre workout ever made. I'm a stim (stimulant) head. I almost always have one of these kinds of products in my cabinet at all times. My point is, I'm well versed in pre workout powders. I've never had one put me in the bathroom like this one did. It's fair to offer that it could be something else, or a mixture of things in my diet, but I made several attempts and I'm pretty sure this is it. I've been around the supplement market long enough to know that some things don't work for all people. This one doesn't work for me. Everyone is different, I get it. So for me, everytime I took this it gave me that edge, that motivation to get my ass to the gym and do something. I loved that aspect. The side affects; headaches, crash hard, the poops, and cramps. Everything else I can deal with but the cramps. No cramps during the workout just a couple hours after. I drink over a gallon of water per day just to be clear and vitamin intake is pretty stuctured. No cramps before I started. No cramps after I stopped. Single combinality Vapor X5. I've seen this product at Walmart for years now. Made the mistake of disregarding it because I thought it would be low quality. But I was wrong. I saw a workout youtube personality use this as a product placement endorsement in a recent video. I fell for it. I looked it up and it was only $20 bucks, which is half the cost of NO Xplode and the other popular ones. Honestly, I'm extremely satisfied. It works just as well as the stuff thats double the cost. I may even give it a slight edge because the tingling sensation is noticeably less. But it gets the job done. I would recommend it and will purchase again. ... show more

This tastes like a pretty normal fruit punch with none of that overpowering tangy flavor I get from most other pre-workouts. I get about the same energy and endurance that I get from all the others I've tried with caffeine. But what really set this one apart from the competition for me is the scoop! It's such a thoughtful addition for people that add the powder to bottled water that it warranted writing this review just to show a picture of it. It's basically the standard scoop with a funnel attached via a flexible plastic piece, allowing the funnel to close over the top of the scoop. I read so manny reviews before purchasing this product and decided why not? I just started my work out journey and decided to try this. First of all the jar came open and some of it spilled outside the box. Second of all, no scoop at all, I searched with a spoon all over and no scoop no funnel nothing, it tasted horrible like if I was drinking sand, maybe because I didn’t have a scoop and Put the wrong amount.Third the amount that comes in the jar (even with the little be that was out in the box) still is too little definitely not 30 servings as they say. And 4th it may be extra information and maybe because it was my first time at all taking a pre work out drink, but once I took it I felt very dizzy and parts of my skin were itching, like my ankle started itching horribly then my forearm, the left side of my bottom part of the back and again the dizziness and my mood definitely changed again because of how dizzy I was. I don’t like giving bad reviews because I respect people’s business and products but this is one that I had too, maybe I wasn’t one of the lucky ones to have a good result and not lucky enough to receive a good product as others . ... show more

Love the original Vapor X5 but was looking for a pre workout that did not have creatine in. Glad I purchased this. I still can go hard at the gym with this. For some reason, I feel like Vapor Series from Muscletech are the only pre workout that allows me to push myself. Others I have tried seems to just give me a "Caffeine High." Will purchase again. Only downside is that this stuff is pretty expensive. To get Clinical dosage you have to use 2 scoops which cuts the advertise 30 servings to 15. How I use it is take 1 scoop to get me out bed and get ready. And 2nd scoop right before I hit the gym. ... show more

I always use pre-workout supplements and was eager to give this a try since I have had very good luck with MuscleTech Supplements. VaporX5 Next Gen didn’t disappoint, it delivers a powerful burst of energy and very nice pump. I also like that it has Betaine and creatine in it. I did have to ease into the max dosage since it is very powerful stuff. The label says to start with one scoop to access your tolerance and I recommend following that since it is so powerful. Took this for the first time today and personally do not like it. I got the hurricane flavor its taste like nail polish and its super thick...nail polish flavored sand..mmmm It does not give me the boost other brands do. I won't order this one again.
