We tried a couple different brands of this type of swaddle, and these are superior BY FAR. Of course, you'll need to practice a few times but once you know how to get it nice and snug, it's super straightforward. We've been using these for two months and wash them lots (lots of spit up) and they are holding up perfectly. Our baby started out at 7lbs and is currently at 10lbs 22 inches and the small size has been fitting perfectly. I liked how easy it is to swaddle my baby, but I didn’t love the Velcro on this swaddle. It was so loud (strong Velcro) that it would completely startle my 2 week old when I was trying to change her diaper in the middle of the night. We barely used this, waste of money in my opinion. We later tried a swaddle with a two way zipper and that worked so much better. Hope this helps ... show more

These swaddles got us through the first few months of my grandaughter's life. I am too paranoid about using the receiving blanket swaddle method. These were super easy to use, and I felt confident that there were safety precautions in place. PS: That slit in the bum area is so you can put the crotch buckle of a car seat/swing through the slit and swaddle the arms for long trips. ... show more

These are great and easy to use but the Velcro gets stuck to everything in the wash. Be sure to fold the tabs in before washing. Otherwise it mostly keeps my baby swaddled which keeps him sleeping for longer!

I love these swaddle wraps. I've been using them for over two months now and I enjoy them and they're still working wonderfully. Just so you know, I use these, the Sleepea swaddle, and most recently the swaddle up. These are the swaddles I use at night when I want baby to be swaddled well so that more sleep is had. If you don't want to read the whole review, then buy these. They are great quality and reasonable priced compared to the other swaddles out there. You get more than one so you have extras when baby has a blowout or lots of spit up. My baby took some getting used to these, at first it was difficult, but I think that was me putting baby in it at the wrong time. I found that if I placed him in the swaddle after he fed, he was much more compliant/ sleepy. When I finally had my routine down, when he woke at night, I would remove him from his swaddle ( so he would nurse better) and have a second one waiting on the changing table so when he was done nursing, I could quickly put him in that swaddle. About the product: The design is for baby's right arm to be swaddled first and the left arm to be last. My baby is like Houdini and would always end up with his left arm (always) and right arm (seldom) out of the swaddle. Hence why I tried other swaddles. The things I love about these swaddles: -The velcro is unmatched in quality. Yes, it's loud when you take the velcro apart, so if you don't want to wake your baby to adjust the swaddle, it probably won't work because it's LOUD. It may be loud, but it has withstood multiple washes and I put it in the dryer too, because I don't have time for hanging dry. The sleepea one already had the velcro loop side getting worn. ( for those that don't know about velcro terms, it has hook and loop. Hook is the hard/ scratchy side, loop is the soft/ fabric side). These swaddles loop side still looks and feels perfect, no issue in attaching and staying put. -These are easy to wash and dry -Light enough that if you want baby to be warm you can use a pajama with it. It's been hot and my baby has slept in it bare (although I put mitts on hands to prevent scratching tummy and waking up) The only negative I have is that I wish the design was available in the opposite side so the left arm would be swaddled first and the right last. ... show more

I really like this style of swaddle, and these particular ones have cute designs. However, functionally, I prefer a competing brands swaddles. These could be softer, and could have better velcro. The velcro on these have destroyed some baby blankets in the wash, even when I took precautions. I would prefer it if these had the softer type of velcro that only sticks to itself. It's also not as stretchy as other swaddles, which would be helpful when getting baby wrapped up. ... show more
