I have wooden floors. This was great for my dog, Pip's steps. It laid flat and is a beautiful design It had just the amount of room in the front and on both sides of the steps. He is small and I wanted to make sure he would have some cushioning if he fell off and it was just enough to go under the bed. It is very expensive looking. It is a beautiful rug and feels soft. It is thin though, but, for the price it’s worth it. We’re using it in sunroom protected by windows so it won’t get wet. Only time will tell how stain resistant it is and how easy it is to clean. Since it’s not in a main living area and doesn’t get as much traffic, I would expect it to last longer. The colors of this rug are so rich and perfectly match my decor. It’s thick enough that it feels good on the feet but not shaggy. I’m very rarely 100% happy with rug purchases online but this one is my favorite thus far. Came fairly quickly too.

Because of the price, my expectations were fairly low. The rug itself seems to be made well and the color and pattern didn't look cheap at all. I like the pattern so much, thinking about getting several different sizes to coordinate with this one. It was a GREAT buy!! CON: Not very strong plastic wrap, arrived with a tear in the plastic covering and was dirty in that spot. Wasn't too big of a deal once unwrapped - couldn't see it that much. CON: Probably not exclusive to this rug, likely all smaller rugs that come rolled up. Once unrolled, was a little hard to get it flat. I rolled it the opposite way for about a day and then laid it out right side up. Took about 3-5 days, so if you need it quick, get it out of the package asap so it can flatten out. ... show more

I needed a rug that would be wearable, not skid on hard wood floors. Note: I have an older dog with arthritis who needed help getting on and off the bed. This rug was just the right size for the area. It does not skid at all on the wood floors. It is thick enough to provide some comfort to the dog when he lays on it. The price was right.
