Awesome shredder, gobbles up papers and staples without pause. Even will shred bills etc. envelopes and all. As far as noise goes its a shredder so there is some noise but nothing too loud. The bin removes easily for emptying and the shredded results are truly shredded. I was not impressed with the credit card shredding as it was not in little pieces but for the small percentage of times I need to destroy them scissors work wonders. I used this shredder a ton and it never overheated on me and only jammed once when I got carried away and tried to shred too much in one go, however the reverse gear spit it out and all was well. This is a great option for a more powerful shredder than the standard offering but still small enough to work in a home office setting or even a small commercial office setting. ... show more

I have been using this shredder since 2021 and have had no problems or issues and it is still running strong. I use it almost daily and have had no issues. You do need to be careful that you don't put soft plastic envelopes through it as that can clog the roller cutters ( but they are pretty easy to clean if you do accidently do that). Works just fine. Does make loud noise during operation but that is to be expected with a shredding machine. I read both the negative and positive reviews before purchase and receiving it and reading the directions I can see that all the negative reviews are from people who ran the machine too long. The chart says 3 minutes of use and 30 minutes of cool down time. I shredded paper for more than 3 minutes without it shutting off but the machine does get hot and if it shuts down on the user that's a safety feature due to overheating of moving parts. It shreds into tiny bits. Seems to operate fine. Like the handle. Compact and sits out of the way. Kinda fun. Other night i saw a dude just hanging around in the dumpster at my complex, smoking a cig and digging through trash looking at stuff. Called the cops and they didn't seem to be concerned. Uhhh... yeah I used to just dump expired mustard or salad dressing that I didn't like on stuff before taking it out. But this is much more effective and elegant, lol. ... show more
