I bought this desk because I needed more space to be able to write and work and I also wanted to have my PC tower on the desk where it had better ventilation. When I first got it I assembled it pretty easy and had some of the issues that other reviewers had said, it seemed unsturdy and I was confused as to how some people thought that it was a very stable desk. I read a couple of tips on how to make it more sturdy and none of them really helped. I set the desk up, put my PC and monitors on but was very unhappy with the unstableness of it. When I typed my monitors shook and I was concerned that it might just break down. So I took everything off, flipped it back over and worked on it to make it more stable. As I sat on my bedroom floor, staring at the desk and considering the hassle of sending it back I had an epiphany. This is a fine desk, in fact it is incredibly sturdy the only problem was my mechanical ineptitude. You have to use an Allen wrench to screw the screws in and while I was putting the legs on I realized was holding the wrench by the small side in order to screw the screws in faster. I didn't even realize that if I flipped the wrench around and held the long part in my hand that I would gain more leverage and thus screw the screws in even more. I did this and was shocked by how much more the screws went in. I would have been embarrassed by my idiocy if I was not overcome with joy. Thank goodness I didn't need to send this desk back. I have been using it for a few weeks and it has been awesome. If you have problems with it being wobbly just try flipping your Allen wrench around because it really is that simple of a fix. ... show more

Received the desk today and I was quite happy with the way it was packaged.; It arrived without damage (phew!). I was pleasantly surprised that the only assembly was to attach the legs to the frame. The frame was already attached to the top. The desk is reasonably sturdy - if you push hard enough it wobbles a very little bit. This in no way affects its performance as a desk IMHO. I was able to easily attach my keyboard tray ( 3M Keyboard Tray with Sturdy Wood Platform, Simply Turn Knob to Adjust Height and Tilt for Comfort, Swivels and Stores Under Desk, Gel Wrist Rest and Precise Mouse Pad, 17" Track, Black (AKT60LE) . This tray is adjustable so it can be raised and lowered to clear the front frame. NOTE: if you have a non-adjustable tray, the frame will be in the way. Check out the product link above for the one I use. Assembly hint: Each leg attaches with 2 bolts and they provide an allen wrench. Screw the bolts in by hand and the just snug them up with the allen wrench. TIghten one bolt (don't overdo it), and then the other. Go back to the first bolt and tighten a bit more and the repeat with the second bolt. ... show more

All of their products are of high quality modern designs and only one time one of our desks came in a bit chipped on the corner and they were so kind to give us 99 percent off on the next purchase!!!! Imagine that! This is the best customer service you could get. Yes there are some reviews down here that the desk came in a bit damaged but the customer service is outstanding. If reach out to the company they are willing to fix it or do a partial refund. Damages do happen anyway you can’t expect everything to come in excellent shape but the fact that the company takes care of you as a customer makes them reliable to do business with. The desk is a strong, very easy to assemble, and comes in with all the parts and bits and pieces so you don’t need anything extra. ... show more

When I received the table, the packaging was in excellent condition. There were a few minor scuffs on it, but that's to be expected. The contents inside were flawless, and everything was securely held in place during transit. The table and components had no damages to them at all. The top was extremely clean, and all tools were included (even the Allen wrench). Setting it up was a walk in the park. It literally took less than 10 minutes, and instructions were not even needed. All that needs to be done is just screwing the legs onto the table top. The table top itself is quite heavy and sturdy. It does not feel cheap at all. The legs are metal, and have plastic grommets on the bottom. The table itself is very easy to clean, and does not scratch easily. I can see this lasting me a long time. The only reason why I gave this four stars, and not five, is because the legs are a little wobbly when attached. It's not due to the quality, just the engineering. The legs tighten at the corners near the top of the table. This causes the lower sections of the legs to be slightly unstable when bumped or moved. Again, this is definitely not a deal breaker for me, just something to consider. There is plenty of space on the table. I have a 27" monitor, laptop, speakers, and lamp sitting on top of it with room to spare for a textbook and additional papers. I will say one more thing to those who are looking for a desk to write on. Since the top is laminated, it does have a gritty texture to it. When writing on paper that is laying directly on this table, the grittiness tends to "bleed" through a little bit. This cause your writing to show little bumps. Since I write in textbooks and use my computer most of the time, this does not affect me. However, I wanted to make it clear to those who it might. ... show more
