Better than I was expecting. Very sturdy. I needed a basic small table for my home office. I had very limited space. This table is deeper than most. There is plenty of room to put a laptop in front of me and still leave enough room to push it back out of the way if I need a writing surface, or space for a monitor and external keyboard. Assembly took 10 minutes and the Allen wrench was included. Recesses in the bolts were shallow, so be careful! The top is a single piece of wood, no joints. The black one has an oak grain texture (smooth enough to write on), and came pre-attached to the steel frame. Solid! Just attach the legs.     • Very Sturdy for the Money

I've been using this desk for a few days now. It is very sturdy and I definitely believe that it would meet the 300lb weight rating. It has strong steel (I think) crossbeams that should prevent any desk sag over the years. The surface finish is also fairly nice given the price. It came very well packed and had no damage despite a large gouge on the external box. All parts were present and accounted for, and assembly was a breeze. All you have to do is bolt the legs to the crossbeams through the pre-drilled holes. There was no drilling or screwing into the wood required which I love! This 63" desk is definitely worth the regular price of (at this time) $160. I got the 63" with the brown surface around Christmas time for $100. It was such a good deal I almost feel like I stole it lol. ... show more

I wanted a new desk for my work from home area. I don’t work from home daily so I didn’t want something super expensive. This desk was super easy to put together with 8 screws. Hardware needed was provided. It’s nice and spacious. I have 2 - 20 inch monitors and probably a 14 inch laptop on a base and still have plenty of room. Feels nice and sturdy. So I have a real love for these need desks, I bought one about 7 years ago and am still using it. The construction is sturdy and well made, I’ve used it for my main computer and hobbling space for many years and love it. I just moved into my new house and since I have two of these desks (the folding leg version) I decided to get another one to complete my office room. While the building process was quick and painless I noticed one thing that immediately made me regret the fixed leg version, and that is that there is not a decent lip on the table. What does this mean? My headset clamp won’t work since it doesn’t have enough purchase to clamp down on, my two hobby lamps also do not have space to clamp on the lip of the table since the metal bar is much closer than my other two desks. While this wasn’t enough to make me regret buying it, it is enough that I have to rearrange my entire office to fit this desk into a place where I don’t need to attach clamp lights. Overall however it’s well built and sturdy, and matches great with my other two desks. I did also notice it stands about 1/8 an inch taller than my other desks so it doesn’t sit quite flush, but I guess I could adjust my other desks to be a little higher to compensate. ... show more
