This is an amazing product that I wish I had years ago. Removing annoying back hair has honestly never been easier. It takes about 5 mins to shave your entire back and leaves you smooth and fresh. It does take some practice to get your angles correct. IT IS A RAZOR WITH BLADES! And it will cut you if moved side to side like a knife vs being pulled like a razor. It takes very little pressure for the blades to provide a close shave. For those that have posted pictures of their butchered bleeding back, I would guess that the shaver was moved side to side while on the skin, they applied too much pressure, or have sensitive skin that doesn't do well with shaving. If you have sensitive skin, I wouldn't recommend this product for you. If you are able to tolerate a razor, want to erase the hair off your back easily, this is definitely an item for you. This definitely works, but I wouldn't use it dry. When in the shower use it only on clean, wet skin. Don't try to put any lubricant such as soap on your back or it won't work at all. I experienced a little 'sensitivity' right after issuing it, but it was gone the next day. It was easy enough to use and I didn't cut myself though I could see how you could if you pressed too hard or slid the blades vertically across your back. I don't think it's as ergonomically shaped as they say it is. Perhaps a pivoting head would help? It's not perfect, but overall it is the best thing I've found to get rid of back hair. ... show more

Think of using a large face razor on your back. It takes some getting used to using it. I never sliced myself open or had any kind of razor burn like like others have mentioned. Also, as others have mentioned, the razors dull really fast. I have done my back twice now and the set of blades that came on the unit are completely dull. The day that I received the product I was so excited to use it. I am a teenager (18), who is very hairy all around my body. Especially my upper body, front and back. The most easiest and fast shave of my life, it actually shaves down to the skin without cutting. I do note, you need to sometimes create angles for the blade so you don't nick yourself on the boney parts of your body. I used it on my back, and then I used it on my chest and stomach; need to say I don't need to worry about having a hairy back anymore. I would always use shaving cream and a razor to get the front part of my body which took forever, but I did it all in like 5 minutes with the bakblade COMPLETELY DRY!! Would recommend for anybody who wants a quick and easy shave! ... show more

I got to say, this is the best hair removal tool I've purchased. I was going to go with an electric one but the ones I've had in the past end up with battery issues. This is perfect, no batteries to worry about, the blades are amazing, super sharp but safe at the same time. Trust me you will not cut yourself with this thing. It does the job, very sturdy, dropped it twice in the shower and did not break. However I recommend to get a better suction cup for the holder, maybe the manufacturer will do better on the suction cup for the holder. Regardless, the product is amazing, never have to deal with having others or paying salons to do the back, lol. Love it, Get one!! ... show more
