  • That makes me sad
Style: UC Optimized Color: Stereo Speaker
I think I had my hopes up way too high about these heads phones before purchasing. Considering the price though I would think they should of stood up to my expectations. Sound quality though is 100%.. I think they sound great and they were easy to install to get working with my laptop. I give 3 stars for 2 reasons - the first is that I use these for work to be wireless so I can roam freely around my office and into the other rooms upstairs and having the ability to do that but WITHOUT being able to mute on and off as I please kind of defeats that purpose. (I answer calls that automatically come through, I don't have the ability to "answer" them) So if I want to make a smoothie between calls I cannot mute my phone so the caller doesn't hear my blender blending delicious fruit, that I cannot make now because I cannot mute... and that's a real bummer. Secondly, they are not as snug as I hoped. If I look down for longer then a few seconds they fall off my head. Maybe I have a small head. Who knows. But for me personally... these will probably be the last pair of this model I own. And that makes me sad. ... show more

  • So good I bought it for myself
Style: UC Optimized Color: Stereo Speaker
A previous employer provided this headset for me as a SW consultant that spends many hours in meetings and video conferences. After leaving that company and returning the headset, I turned around and bought one for myself for the next job, even though I had a corded low end system that worked OK. But the freedom of being able to turn around in your chair and put stuff in a cabinet, stand up and stretch, walk to break room and grab a coffee, or even plug in the USB and charge the headset with out dropping the connection and while still on a call is absolutely worth it. What is also fantastic is having this connected to your phone AND to your company computer so that you can effortlessly switch between playing music on your phone and taking a conference call with out touching your headset or the computer (or vice versa). The only downside is long term use comfort. The 75 has more padding on the head strap and larger ear cups, as well as active noise cancelling. If you are in an "open office" environment and can swing the $200, I strongly urge going for the 75. I ran out of tech budget (RAM comes first after all), so I stayed with the 65. It isn't really settling for less, it is just not getting quite as much. ... show more

  • Utterly useless if you pause and resume frequently
Style: UC Optimized (Standard) Color: Stereo Speaker
For my usage, I pause and resume videos frequently. Every time you pause the audio, less than a minute later the receiver goes into standby and disconnects. It takes approximately 4 seconds to reconnect when audio resumes. Do you know how many words you can miss in 4 seconds? I spoke with Amazon support and Jabra support and confirmed this is not a faulty unit, but just poor design. I can't believe I spent so much money on such a useless product! Avoid this unless you don't care about what you're listening to. ... show more

  • Lasted 4 months
Style: UC Optimized (Standard) Color: Stereo Speaker
I loved the quality of sound with these but I expected them to last longer than 4 months. The earpiece just snapped off. Apparently, there's just a small bit of plastic attaching the earpieces to the headband part. I am very disappointed since I paid so much for these. Amazon only let's you return them for 30 days. I have emailed the company and we will see how they back their product. I will update if I get resolution. ... show more

  • Buyer beware!
Style: UC Optimized (Standard) Color: Stereo Speaker
These headphones only work wired. If you try using them wireless, they continually disconnect. If you plug them in, they work fine which defeats the purpose. Jabra = junk. I feel seriously ripped off. If I could give half of a star I would. I have a set of Bose QC35's that I can use connecting with Bluetooth. I was hoping to leave them at home and take the Jabra headset on the road. Not happening. FYI, I plugged up to a 2015 model Macbook Pro and a new one as well and they behave the same. • Mobile professional that needs a good headset? THESE ARE FOR YOU !
Style: UC Optimized (Standard) Color: Stereo Speaker
Let me start by saying that one pet peeve I have on headsets for the cell phone is when you cannot hear yourself..however..while the Jabra Evolve 65 does not play back your own voice, I actually get along quite nicely with this setup. I can use the USB wireless connection to jack into my laptop or desktop and listen to audio there, while a call comes in it switches to phone and picks up. THIS is so important! As an IT consultant I need fast switching. Haven't had any issues with battery life. Today (3/5/2018) I found that using the included orange USB Cable to connect and charge to my computer, it also funneled the sound through the headset--so charging AND using it, AND still bluetooth'd into my phones. Currently listening to Periphery on my iPhone over bluetooth and also connected to my Pixel (work phone). If I mess with the pixel phone, the audio will cut over to Pixel--which is what I want. ... show more

  • I didn't want to be tied to a desk phone.
Style: UC Optimized (Standard) Color: Stereo Speaker
I have read the negative reviews and can say that despite them, I bought this headset anyway. I'm about a month into using it and glad I made the choice. I operate a digital media company that takes me on the road as well as working in an open office. The call sound quality is great and the music sound quality is good enough. To those that say they fall off your head, they don't, unless you plan to play air drums to a Dreamtheather soundtrack. To those that say they can't hear themselves when they talk on the phone, I say, can you with ear buds? Yes, these are noise limiting (not canceling) so you may sound muffled to yourself, but I find the need to hear yourself is not necessary. And yet, they provide enough noise reduction from an open office or coffee shop to keep you focused on your work but not excluded from your surroundings. ... show more

  • This is probably the best headset I've ever had
Style: UC Optimized (Standard) Color: Stereo Speaker
This is probably the best headset I've ever had. The only reason it gets four stars instead of five is it's just not 100% perfect. It's not always clear to me when it's getting lower on power. It seems when you double tap the select button it'll say "battery full" and then eventually it's close to empty. Maybe I need to play with it more, but I've never heard some other in between percentage. And the other thing - which is maybe no fault of Jabra - is switching between headset and internal mic/speakers. I have occasion to do that when not on a call. It would be great if there was software or something to allow you to - with one key or a mapped function key - switch the inputs / outputs of the computer, (like a Mac), to just use the device or internals without having to go all the way into setup. ... show more
