I really wanted to really really love this blanket but unfortunately it sheds like crazy. I can't put my phone down on it without a million hairs sticking to the plastic case and all over my clothes. I tried washing it thinking it maybe they were just loose fuzzes from production but the problem persists. It is quite soft but (and it pains me to say this because I prefer to support small businesses) my smaller sized amazon brand faux fur sherpa blanket is softer and doesn't shed. This gets three stars because it is very soft but I think the quality just isn't quite there. On the plus sides if you have cats they will LOVE this material. The large size is also optimum for maximum coziness. Edit: I've increased my review by one star because of excellent customer service. The company refunded my entire order unprompted because my blanket wasn't up to their standards. I can't guarantee your blanket will not be just as sheddy but it's possible I got a fluke. ... show more

So fuzzy. So silky. Even when my cat jumped up onto the bed and landed on the blanket. He stopped, sniffed, then took this long step by step pause as if to relish each luxurious step. I said to him, "Uh huh, its squishy ain't it?" as he smiled back. (his name is Tag. He's my shadow and doesn't know he's a cat.) This blanket is light enough to not smother you. And Tag, well I caught him acting like a cat, kneading this fuzzy blanket. . . until he caught me watching and then he stopped, pretending I don't know what I'm talking about. The soft side is very very soft. The microfiber side isn't the greatest, but I personally don't like the feel of microfiber. But the soft side is the softest I've ever felt in a blanket. Very happy with it.

It’s unremarkable, and I can buy the same size, look, and feel of this blanket at my local Dollar General for $11. Love this throw, I keep it on the bed and use it to cozy up on chilly nights. Cats love it too! For reference, it’s been washed several times so you can see the little bit of wear and tear, but considering, again, cats sleeping on it, kneading on it, etc, I’d say it’s held up very well. You can see in the picture of the Sherpa side where they’ve picked at it. Those are from the cats, not any defect of the product. Very little shedding when washed. It’s a lovely chocolate brown color. I’m getting ready to purchase another one in a different color. FYI, I had also purchased one in the aubergine color to match a different duvet, but it was not a good match. I’d say the picture online is a good representation but not the color I was looking for. ... show more
