These are nice, well made runners. I’m a little disappointed the color is a bit on the yellow ivory side, though. I was hoping they’d match the carpet color better. I’m a little afraid that the cloth edging might wear as time goes on. We’ll see…. But overall I like the material and the look.

I get this rug to spruce up my living room. It did the trick, looks nice, covered up my word wood floors. Love that it has a backing and doesn’t shift/move. Lays flat. I would not recommend for small children, as I’ve gotten an occasional splinter on my foot (not frequent, but it happened once and I wouldn’t let a baby or toddler on it). Also if you have pets, be prepared to spend extra time cleaning up any related messes. I have a cat who, like most cats, rushes to a carpeted surface whenever she hurls, and while you CAN get it out, it takes extra time, effort, and a soft scrub brush to do the trick (and I recommend Bissell pro spray cleaner - that stuff is magic). I mostly vacuum with a dyson - suction only - it does take a while to actually look dirty (bonus!). Also watch out for wild variations in pricing. ... show more

Bought this for my Maine coon, who loves to stretch out but is too large for the usual cat sized mats. He loves it! Both cats stretch out side by side on it. Construction is good as he also tends to claw at it like a scratching post and it does not show any signs of being shredded after 2 months of use. The maize color is really pretty. It's a very soft subtle gold tone. I can't speak to durability yet but the quality seems very good. I would buy again. (Actually, I did! I bought a small one to use as a door mat.)

I purchased a 2x6 sisal runner to use as a scratching pad for my cats. We have scratching "posts" but one of them do not like to go vertical when scratching. This protects the nice carpet I have down as that was their go to. Now they only use this and have stopped scratching the carpet and all furniture in that room. Fantastic! I've had it over a month and see no significant wear and tear (or shedding) even after they go at it several times a day. They absolutely love this and it is so worth it.
