Description

ELX200-12SP features high-efficiency Class-D power amplifiers (up to 1200 W) with integrated QuickSmartDSP, and delivers up to 129 dB SPL utilizing transducers designed and engineered by EV (12-inch EVS-12L woofer). Powered subwoofer models allow easy setup via three presets (Music, Live, Club), sub/top system-match crossovers, three-band EQ, five user-programmable presets (Store and Recall settings), visual monitoring of limiter status, input level control and meters, and master volume control to ensure optimal gain structure. ELX200 powered models are ideal for portable and installed applications, with lightweight and compact 15-mm wood enclosures, integrated M20 threaded pole pole mount plate, and two-handle design for easy lifting. The new QuickSmart Mobile wireless control and monitoring application, using Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) technology, allows intuitive system control, configuration and monitoring of up to six powered ELX200 loudspeakers simultaneously. Receive alerts when your system is being overdriven, and control your system while in front of your speakers, not behind. Bluetooth is available in select countries.

    • I made the right decision of purchasing EV again
I am a fan of Electro-Voice since many years ago, even though before making the investment I searched a little bit in the sub woofer market to figure it out about prices, technology, etc.. I found that the ELX200-12SP 12" fit pretty much okay for my in-house surround system. Once installed the bass filled the whole room with an outstanding sound quality without being overwhelming. The sub came with an app which can make very easy to control the volume and some other functions via Bluetooth. For those looking for a quality sub-woofer for being used in your house or small venue the 12'' inches is more than enough, otherwise I recommend to scale up to 15" or 18". ... show more

AMAZING SUB! if you are on the fence about this sub. Just get it. I used to own an EV SBA760 sub. That thing was amazing, but too heavy and bulky to bring to gigs anymore, so I wanted to downsize and bought a Behringer B1200D-PRO which sadly did not meet my expectations. This EV sub is amazing. PLENTY of loud bass in bars. I use it for solo gigs where I run backing tracks and the low end really thumps. Kick drum, bass, all cut through. You can feel the low end. ... show more

I love the compact size and sound of these subs. They are exactly what we wanted. Easy on the backs and small enough to put in the SUV with all the other equipment for a small band PA system.

I own four of these and love them. No more hauling around 18’s. My back thanks me, besides two of these stacked up fair pretty well against one 18 inch sub. With two of these and a couple tops, you can do a room of 200 easily. EV is a good brand. Not the best, but for the price tag, can’t go wrong.
