I will say this piece is beautiful. However, when I received this item, my ring camera shows the packaging is damaged. As a result, the item sustained damage. Also, the chain at the top of the chair that holds the chair up to the stand is peeling. At the bottom of the stand there is a piece of hard plastic covering a screw ( I assume so your floor doesn’t get scratched) which is broken and, yes now my vinyl floor has a gash. Looks can be deceiving. Although this piece looks beautiful, it seems not to be made with the best quality and has caused my floor damage and myself disappointment. Definitely, not worth $700. Also, I find it hard to get a good constant communication going with the seller. I’m aiming for a refund and now I have to be home from work to wait for UPS to pick up the item. My job has me out of town so this is just a hard situation that I didn’t anticipate. ... show more

Incredibly well designed and comfortable. We are using it in the house with hardwood floors and I love that it is both functional and aesthetically beautiful - like an art piece. I was planning on putting a rug with padding to protect the hardwood but saw that the base has small rubber nubs, so instead, I added felt padding to protect the floors. The good: The chair is absolutely beautiful, very comfortable, and easy to put together. I was able to assemble the chair by myself in under 20 minutes. The biggest issue I faced with assembly was that the vertical post kept spinning around when I was trying to attach it to the base. Once I got the first bolt in, the assembly went smoothly. It would probably be a bit easier with 2 people. The not so good: the delivery company. My chair sat in their warehouse for days with no update and was only put into transit when I called asking questions. Getting anyone from the delivery company on the phone was a huge challenge. I was hung up on several times, the wait times to speak to anyone were over an hour each time I called, and no one responded when I sent an email. While delivery was earlier than expected, the delivery company was also supposed to call me to schedule delivery once the chair arrived in the local distribution center. Unfortunately, no one ever called. Instead the delivery men showed up at my house unexpectedly and their paperwork showed that someone had not only called me but left a voicemail which wasn’t true. Overall I would highly recommend the chair. Just be forewarned when it comes to delivery! ... show more

My chair was delivered damaged. Once I was able to contact the seller - they quickly took care of my issue and sent me a new chair and I had it within a week! I love this chair! It is amazing! I always wanted a hanging chair and finally purchased this one after reading a ton of reviews. If you're thinking about it, I'd say go for it. I love this chair. It is big enough that I can mostly curl up in it with one leg partially hanging out (I'm 5'8" and about 175lbs, so not a tiny person) very comfortably. Love this swing chair. We received it yesterday and couldn't wait to unpack and install it. Finally I carefully unpacked and installed the setup. Few things I liked: 1. Nicely packed on delivery. It coudln't fit in our main door and so had it placed in the Garage. 2. The delivery company called and asked if it could be delivered sooner than the anticipated date. That was awesome 3. No Instruction manual. I was surprised. But then, when I unpacked, the items and parts were pretty intuitive and the setup was done in 10minutes. It took more time for unpacking than the install. 4. Very comfy to sit in. I worked on my computer for several hours just sitting on this chair. What I didn't like - Despite of solid packing at delivery, and careful unpacking, I found the chair was damaged. I believe it was damaged even before it was shipped. Attached a picture for reference. See those red circles where A. the connecting steel rod is bent. B. Three of those wires around the area where Steel rod is bent, are cut. I will have to find a way to secure, else I can anticipate the wire coming off in next few days/weeks of using it. ... show more

Have had it for a few months - in my opinion, it is good quality, looks great, and is extremely comfortable. Shipping was faster than other sellers as well. Definitely recommend.
