  • This frame is so much sturdier than the old style frames
Size: Full
I had an old style frame that had 2 rails on the side and a couple of supporting bars that are adjustable so the frame can fit multiple sizes of beds.... I wanted my bed raised up (not necessarily for storage) and ordered this one to replace it. After assembling the pieces, which was fairly easy, considering I suffer from chronic lower back pain - the worste part for me was joking the 2 "sides" to make the final assembly only because I had to lean over it to put in the screw and twist the nut. What I didn't expeft, that was an added benefit, was when I placed the old box spring onto the frame (not necessary, but I still wanted my bed raised up) the box spring swayed back and forth, and I thought maybe something was wrong with the frame. However, it turns out the box springs were the problem - even though the box spring is made to support the mattress and sleeper(s) apparently it doesn't so it's job all that well because the box spring was buckling under the weight and was "sagging" like a mattress does, only this was the box spring itself! Now that the entire thing is put together; frame, box spring and mattress, and I am resting my weary back, it feels so much more supportive since the frame is meant to work without a boxspring. I just hope the additional weight of the boxspring doesn't negatively affect the frame. One final thought, there is a similar type frame here on Amazon, but it is folding. It appears to come in one piece because it folds into a size that fits under a living room chair. I wish I had seen the folding one before I ordered this one, but other than the convenience, I am so far happy with this item ... show more

  • Great for small spaces and saving up money for a set. For the average person.
Size: King
Alright so I'm kind of torn in this one. My husband and I are tall and heavy people as we are both gym goers, I'm a personal trainer so I live at the gym basically. He's 6'7" tall and roughly 300-320lbs at any given time. I'm 5'9" and roughly 200-216lbs, so we bought a king. With all that being said, If you have carpet to keep this bed IN PLACE, then it's amazingly sturdy and can be helpful for young couples trying to save money for bedroom sets! Definitely get this frame if you have carpet and aren't a giant monster. HOWEVER... this frame on woodfloors is a NO GO! Make sure you have that really strong carpet tape stuff to stick underneath the legs (we did this when we bought the frame a second time for our guest bed for the in laws on a queen size and it's perfect). The king size frame is broken unfortunately since the GIANT hubby dropped all his weight down on the frame and it slid, snapped, and thudded instantly. Definitely good for an average person that DOESN'T THROW 300+ LBS OF BODY WEIGHT AROUND LOL. ... show more

  • Should be just fine for you if you’re using it strictly for sleep.
Size: King
We had been using this frame for about a year and a half, and it’s broken or fallen apart on multiple occasions. It didn’t matter how many times we went around and tightened all the bolts, they would come loose and fall on the floor more frequently than one would hope, and nearly a month ago now the welded bolt inserts just broke clear out from one of each of the sides of the frame. So, all in all, it does not hold up to two dogs occasionally running and jumping onto it (one under 70 pounds and one over 80), nor any other extracurricular activities, for very long (or at least for as long as I would expect? I had had a similar frame for a queen size bed for multiple years with no issues, which was why I opted for this style of frame to begin with). It also had the tendency of sliding across our room (wood vinyl flooring), especially with the dogs jumping onto it, even when we purchased non-skid pads, the frame would still slide off of them. So. If you don’t have dogs that have the zoomies in your room on occasion, nor do you have an active personal life, this frame will probably be fine. If you do have those two things, or even just one of the two, I would say opt for a more sturdy option if you’re able. ... show more

  • Sturdy, satisfying to assemble, no complaints whatsoever
Size: Full
I ordered this specifically because I have a memory foam mattress but didn't see the need for a bulky boxspring anymore. After ditching the boxspring, I bought this frame so I would have more storage space underneath. The frame was packed well (with zip-ties fastening the smaller pieces to the larger pieces, so no loose pieces tumbling around the box!). It wasn't so easy to assemble that a child could do it, but the instructions were clear and the whole thing can be put together using only the one Allen wrench that's included. Also, I'm under 5 feet tall and had no trouble putting this together without any assistance whatsoever. The feet did not all sit perfectly level on the floor, but that's probably since I have 117-year-old wood floors that are a little uneven in certain spots (so I'm not going to blame the product for that). I was able to fix that with a few thin slices of plywood to fill in the gaps. Even with that in mind, the frame feels very sturdy and is not at all creaky. Honestly, I'm surprised at the value of this product. I was expecting to have at least one complaint about it, as can often be expected with such a good deal on the price, but that does not seem to be the case here. We'll be purchasing another one of these probably next year when my dad needs to get rid of his boxspring as well. ... show more

  • Who knew a bedframe could be so amazing?
Size: Twin
Me: Oh gosh I'm short and weak, will I be able to assemble this? Me, 15 min after opening the box: Aaaand done. This bedframe was suuuuper easy to assemble. Even easier than some ikea stuff I've bought. I never knew furniture design could be so user-friendly. This design is cost effective AND space effective -- I can fit so much stuff underneath! Yippee! I never knew a room could hold so much and yet have so much space. (The bed at my old place took up more than half of my room, with no room for storage below) I can't say much about durability for everyone (since I'm not very heavy), but this frame will probably last me until... forever. Until I decide to sell it or throw it away because I have finally found someone to share a bed with and can afford something bigger and better but... let's be real. That day will probably never come for me (and a lot of us). So yes. This bedframe is amazing. I will probably sleep on it until I'm old. ... show more
