  • A bit skinny
Color: Charcoal Style: T3 Rush
Overall it’s a nice chair, the main downside is it’s just plain skinny in the seat. If you have wider hips or a little extra padding in the butt area, this might be a little tight and uncomfortable to sit in for long periods. I do kinda wish I had gone with a different brand that had offered a wide version, but they had. 6 week lead time and this Corsair chair shipped right away. Assembly was pretty easy and it’s a very quality product in all other aspects. The adjustability in the arms and such is nice. I just wish it had a little wider seat. ... show more

  • Even better than my old chair that I thought was perfect!
Color: Black/White Style: Race
My girlfriend and I put together this chair within 30 minutes and the way my legs fit with the angled side cushion, is incredibly comfortable. This is my first reclining PC chair and I gotta say, I love it! I'm 6' and the neck pillow can lay perfectly once I position it. My head doesn't go above the top of the chair like other people have implied. I absolutely love this chair and use it every single day with no issues. ... show more

  • Great chair and very comfortable.
So far, I like this chair a whole lot. The only problem is that the chair is not designed for us short people. The head rest pillow position if designed for folks that are over 6' tall. I am 5'6" and the head rest is centered at the top of my head. Other than that, this is a very comfortable chair that moves with very little effort compared with other chairs. ... show more

  • What’s not to love?
Color: Charcoal Style: T3 Rush
This is my first actual gaming chair. And honestly I couldn’t be happier. On wish the arm rests could space wider on occasion. Other then that it’s awesome for comfort.

  • Doesn’t accommodate wide framed people
Color: Black/White Style: Race
So, let me start by saying this is the first gaming chair I’ve ever purchased and the first chair I’ve ever purchased online. I bought this over the DXRacer Valkrie that my friend has. I liked the Corsair chair better because of the roller blade style wheels, the plastic wheel base which would not cause problems for my metal allergy, and the price was cheaper. Ultimately I was looking for a comfortable office/gaming chair with a high back and comfortable headrest. When the box arrived there was no instruction manual, but I found a video from Corsair on YouTube easily enough and assembly was pretty straight forward. In the video they fail to mention there is a small red cap on the gas lift that needs to be removed or the height adjustment won’t work. Now, for the reason I returned it: I did not realize the chair back was so narrow and deep. I am 6’5” and have a fairly large frame to begin with. Add some love handles to that and when I sat down in the chair for the first time I felt like one of those chonky cats you see in Facebook videos, wedging themselves into small containers. Nevertheless, I gave it a fair 24 hour try. I reminded myself it usually takes time to adjust to a new chair. By the next day I had swapped back to my old chair. It was just too skinny for me. Had the back of the chair been wider or the wings flared out a bit more it might have worked. I even a much shorter friend mine come try it and he found it too narrow as well. It’s a shame because other than that, and a very small puncture in the armrest I was willing to ignore, it felt like a nice sturdy chair. I it felt tall enough. Other notes: The lumbar pillow they provide was no help and only felt uncomfortable and in the way. Both pillows feel way too stiff to be of any use. The armrests are not hard rigid plastic like I was expecting. I had ordered some cushy armrest covers to put on them, but they turned out to be made of some kind of stiff foam that had a small amount of squish to them. They were comfortable enough that I was not going to bother using the armrest covers. There was no posted weight limit for this chair that I could find, even on the Corsair product page. I’m now considering a DXRacer King, Secretlab Titan 2020 or an IKEA Markus (the Markus only because I can try it in person before I buy it). One final note for first time buyers of any gaming chair, and perhaps any chair: check its weight limit and height recommendations. Check the seat depth measurement if you’re long and lanky. And Corsair, if you're listening please consider making a larger/wider version of this chair and posting stats like weight/height limit. I couldn’t find that info on any site. ... show more

  • Sleek, Well-Made, Comfortable!!!
I would urge any person who has back, neck, or any physical problems/concerns to seriously consider this chair... Brief background on my own situation: Like a dummy, I spent about 5 years carrying very large umbrellas out to the patio of the restaurant I'd worked at (by myself. because people I worked with were lazy)... These umbrellas were each weighted with what I would guess to be about 80-lb bases. As a result, my neck, right shoulder, and lower back are forever gimped. Given that I spend at least 6 hrs per day working at the computer, I needed something very reliable to keep my posture correct, and this chair is doing just that. But why did I get this particular chair? Here are the reasons: 1). Although I'm a Mac guy, I've been watching pc tech videos for years because I like to keep up on the latest stuff. The company, Corsair is one I'd recognized immediately. I've seen enough objective reviews and analysis of their many products to know that whatever it is that they produce, they absolutely do not mess around; not on design, not on service —anything. 2). This chair, along with one other that they make comes with these really sturdy rollerblade wheels (not weak plastic ones), and they seem to work great. 3). Every surface of this chair seemed as though they went all out to create it —from the wonderful material covering the armrests, to the rubber screw plugs where the back is fastened to the base... You only live once, so you deserve nice things, ok. I'm an artist and I appreciate the making of very nice things. As far as things that I don't like about this chair, I found nothing. I want, however, to discuss a few issues that others have pointed out in their own reviews: 1). Before ordering this chair, I'd read a few reviews in which people said that the little bearings were coming out of the wheels... I don't know what happened with their wheels, but mine were just fine —very well made and work well. 2). Before ordering this chair, I'd read a few reviews —and saw a video review— of people complaining about "looseness" with the armrests... They also said it seemed like cheap plastic. This is an absurd and unfair criticism of this product. These armrests move have 3 types of adjustments, with what seems to be two position states for each adjustment. There is in fact a bit of play once everything is locked, but it is very little and makes perfect sense, mechanically —no problem. The plastic with which these armrests are made is extremely durable, along with the various adjustment buttons. My guess is that if this tiny bit of wiggle (which doesn't wiggle at all when your arms are resting) really bothers someone enough, one could simply wedge in a little bit of dark cloth into those cracks where there is play. So that's my review. You get what you pay for, and this chair is total quality. ... show more
