  • Quality grill
Color: Black Style: Natural Gas Pattern Name: Propane Grill
Very well reviewed and I can see why. Yes, more than your knockoff that'll rust in a year. But quality is worth it without going insane like grills can. I have a natural gas hookup on my house and I wanted a grill. Pay attention carefully when assembling. When it says leave some screws out, do it! I had to do a bit of disassembly when attaching the front panel. The included quick disconnect fitting is 3/8" and natural gas hookups tend to be 1/2", it seems. You'll need black pipe fittings, pipe wrenches, and pipe dope. The hardware store didn't have everything exactly but there are tons of fittings in a wild variety of materials to be found online. Black pipe. Not galvanized. Paint it to stop rust. Natural gas has a lower BTU content than propane but it gets hot. During the initial full blast burn in as the directions stipulated, it got well over 600. Seared the tomahawk steak I used to christen it to perfection. The gas hose could be longer but it's enough. Started right up with the powered ignition. Big wheels rolled over the gravel to my garage easy. Get a cheap cover, a good stainless brush, and some good tools and you're off to the races. ... show more

  • Great Grill
Color: Black Style: Natural Gas Pattern Name: Propane Grill
I opted for the free assembly of this grill and two guys came and assembled it and put it exactly where I wanted it (they asked). They couldn't have been nicer and they did a great job. It took them maybe a half hour to do it and they came at 8:30AM on the day of my choice. The grill is great and food comes out perfectly. ... show more

  • Small but mighty
Color: Black Style: Natural Gas Pattern Name: Propane Grill
We liked the smaller size for our deck but worried it wouldn’t be very powerful. We were wrong! It did a better job in less warm-up time than our former, larger grill.

  • Assistance from Weber takes time, but it is excellent!
Color: Black Style: Natural Gas Pattern Name: Propane Grill
The first time I called Weber on Thursday of this week it took twelve minutes to have a rep answer my call. Then, the call was dropped so I went to Weber.com to complete my warrantly claim. I was asked by message to use the electronic assistant so I submitted the information requested by message, but when I typed in the Weber grill serial number, the electronic assistant said that the serial number I submitted did not exist. I had several people look at the serial number, and write it down, but they all wrote the same serial number, so I hung up. Today, Sunday, I called the 800-number supplied in my installation manual--that contains very few instructions in print, and told the agent about my miserable experience with the electronic agent at Weber.com the past Thursday. The agent was from Columbia and spoke perfect English, and I told him so, which is not the norm for out-of-country calls for technical assistance. He immediatly asked me to send him photo attachments of the broken parts, after he asked for my address here in the U.S. to register my grill. My model is a Weber Spirit II - E310 NG e-burner black grill. He now had my correct address to send the warranty parts. I then sent 2 photos that I attached to the return email reply to this agent, and when he got the photos, he said to me by telephone, "OK, I know the parts you need and will put in an order to Weber to send the broken parts to you as a warranty claim as soon as possible." I was amazed at his overall efficiency, command of the English language, and how fast this claim was completed. ... show more

  • Heats up fast and holds the heat in well.
Color: Black Style: Natural Gas Pattern Name: Propane Grill
Based on ATK's recommendation, when we decided to replace our 12-YO Charbroil grill, we chose this one. Although I would have preferred to get it locally, Amazon had it on sale, and we saved about $30 by ordering it. It arrived on time, all securely packaged -- to the point it was difficult to remove from the box. Assembly took two days, mainly because of a late start on the first day, and was accomplished with a minimum of swearing or re-tracing steps, and completed yesterday afternoon. We love that it already comes equipped for natural gas, so we didn't have to buy the extra adapter for that -- or fuss with installing one. (Installing the natural gas adapter on our old Charbroil grill led to quite a bit of swearing back when we got it....) We used it both last night and this evening, and we're so happy with it! First impressions: wow, this thing gets hot! And in a hurry, too! Our old 4-burner grill would take 20 minutes or more to heat up to 350 - 400, and you nearly melted if you got close to it while all the burners were on. This heated to nearly 500 degrees in 10 minutes with all three burners on, and holds the heat in so well you don't realize how hot it is until you open the lid. I love that the handle on the lid is not metal, so you don't burn your fingers on it. It also ignites much more easily and quickly than the old grill did, so that's a plus. And frankly, we haven't really lost that much cooking space by going down a burner, because the cooking area is quite roomy. Last night we used it for the first time, on a bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin. We didn't brine the meat or anything fancy, just put a bit of Harley's Sweet Rub on it, wrapped it in bacon, and cooked it over the middle of the grill, with just the two side burners going on medium-high. The roast was done in about 35 minutes, with good grill marks, and still tender and moist. Tonight we grilled 4 chicken thighs (skin on, bone in) that had been brined for about half an hour. Again, we preheated the grill, oiled the grates a bit, and put the chicken on skin-side-down in the middle of the grate, turning the middle burners off and leaving the other two burners on medium-to-medium high. Turned the chicken after about 20 minutes, and it was done in another 15. We love the open cart, the way the box holds in heat, the ease of cleaning the drip tray, and just how well it cooks. Oh, and we got the Weber grill brush, and that works well, too. ... show more
