  • Lighter than the 12, less substance
I wore these today for the first time and am mixed. I have been wearing Brooks Cascadia for many years and this is probably my 8th pair. These are lighter than ever but still have the wonderful bottom that clings to rocks and dirt like magic. Fit remains the same. The big difference is that they are made more streamline and with less overall support and padding. I miss the feeling that my foot is held snugly in the top of the shoe and I miss the padding under foot. I am considering adding a slim piece of foam inside these...If I had not worn them I think I would return for a pair of the 12. If you are really into a light shoe these are nice, I just like more substance in a trail shoe. ... show more

  • Wore right out of the box felt great fantastic traction!
Purchased and received these just in time to wear for winter spartan sprint. I wouldn’t usually wear brand new shoes for an event especially like a spartan but I trust brooks name and reviews were good. They were perfect! I order half size up for running and the toe box is roomy enough I could have gone down that half size and been fine! As is with half size up little more then my thumb width from my big toe to end of the box. I am still coming off tendonitis of posterior tibialis tendon and stress fracture and these shoes felt great on my feet. Awesome tread gave me fantastic traction covering a hilly course cover in snow, ice and mud. They also look great! I would definitely recommend these trail runners! ... show more

  • Great Shoes
I actually love these shoes and they were amazing right out of the box. I've had them for a few weeks now and I wear them almost every day. I have noticed that while still comfortable they are stretching out a little more than I thought they would. It's not an issue, they just don't feel as snug and secure as they first did. These are incredibly light weight shoes and I wouldn't give them up or return them but I just have to wear a little heavier sock with them now that I have them "broken in" a bit. I wouldn't change sizes either. Just wear a heavier sock. I like my shoes to be a little snug so this may not be an issue for anyone else. I also love the bigger loop at the heel. It makes putting them on so much easier. ... show more

  • Great trail shoe
This is a solid trail running shoe. I’m used to the Brooks Ghost series which has a large toe box. These definitely have a smaller toe box, but not narrower than a normal shoe. I ordered one half size smaller than I normally do for running shoes, per a friend’s recommendation. It worked out great. For normal shoes I’m 7.5, for running shoes I’m 8.5. I bought these in 8 and they’re great. I recommend these. ... show more

  • Stable but light trail shoes
I purchased the Brooks Cacadia 13 shoes for my trail runs and love them. They are light but provide the stability I need on mixed terrain trails. The soles gripped the trail on loose soil and down hill hard efforts. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

  • Brooks are my favorite
I was going to return these shoes because they looked like they may have been returned once already before as they had a little dirt on them on the top and the sole like someone may have tried them out. I decided to keep them since I was headed for a dirty trail any way. Brooks are my favorite running shoe for the paved surfaces so decided to stick with them for the trails too. Ran yesterday and they were a great fit. I don't like the design of them much but they are comfortable for an offroad trail run. ... show more

  • Lasts a long time!
Size: 8.5 Color: Multicolour Grey Grey Pink 091
I wear these shoes to work at a medical facility. They are so comfortable! They also last 3x longer than any other shoe I’ve bought.

  • Loved so much I bought a second pair
Perfect true fit shoe. Wore for a Spartan race that had many hills and the shoes were comfortable the entire time even after getting wet and muddy.
