  • Worked perfect!
Size: 15-Feet Style: Inline Plug
Easy to use and no issues with it connecting from generator to the garage plug. Recommend getting the straight plug (not elbow) so it doesn't block any of your generator functions/outlets. Fast shipping and very heavy duty.

  • Solid cable, a bit unwieldy
Size: 15-Feet Style: Elbow Plug
These cable is very well built. Work's great from hooking my generator up to the house when the power goes out. It is quite stiff though and a bit of a pain to actually hook up.

My fault for ordering a 50 amp. so ridgid i can not straighten it out. I should have ordered a 30 amp instead.

Size: 15-Feet Style: Elbow Plug
this cord is heavy duty and can handle any watts or voltage you may have in you home or shop or some kind of storage you may have, this cord works great with the generator of my choice duromax XP10000EH or the duromax XP12000EH both works really well just install a 50 amp breaker in your main breaker box hook up your wires to a transfer switch power inlet box 50 AMP and you are set. the set up will need is one of the duromax generator the power inlet box and this power cord don't forget you have to get a cord to run from your main breaker box to the inlet box make sure you mount this box outside your or in a garage will be find but make sure that the generator is outside your house not in the garage will the doors closed almost forgot these generators run off of gas and propane yes propane last twice as long as gas plus during a power outage most of the gas stores will have no power so you can't buy gas but propane last for years, one of those tanks that use for a fish fryer is fine or go by lowes and get a 100lb tank this is your best buy because this tank is yours all you have to do is to get a refill and bring it home. and by the way EBAY can send you a EMAIL when these generators go on sale I hope this help. ... show more

  • Works for Generator
Size: 25-Feet Style: Elbow Plug
Awesome, heavy duty cord. We've got a 50 amp reliance power inlet box wired to our panel with an interlock kit. And I've got the duromax dual fuel generator 13k/10.5k running that has the 50 amp plug. This is much better, and more cost effective than the Generac 10' ($127.00) or The Generac 20'($280) cord. It's the EXACT SAME THING, same heavy jacket rated for 12,500 watts. And exterior use. Generac is SO expensive, and their standby generators are out of this world, then the Install is $4k +. So after building an generator enclosure, treating my "portable Generator" as a true standby I've got less than 25% wrapped up in the project. About $1,800. After electrician, materials etc. Get yourself a dual fuel generator, and a couple 100# tanks LPG stores for years! One note, you'll have to get different 2 stage propane regulator. MB Sturgis I'd recommend. ... show more

Size: 25-Feet Style: Elbow Plug
Very pricey but good HD quality for the most part. One issue is that the male end is "very" tight and difficult to insert and twist or even remove. This plug should be a standard design and an non issue but it is. I may have buy yet another receptacle for my input box to resolve this problem.

  • heavy duty 50A 240v
Size: 15-Feet Style: Elbow Plug
This was purchased to connect a 12.5Kw generator to an APC UTS10BI automatic transfer switch installed in my home. It plugs in to a 50A inlet box also purchased through Amazon and is capable of supplying the full 50A. This allows for well pump, along with 8 other designated circuits, to function when grid power goes out. In spite of the additional expense, the safety and convenience factor of a setup utilizing an inlet power cord such as this one is well worth it. Safety first when it comes to emergency power as no one wants carbon monoxide poisoning, which unfortunately can happen if a generator is fired up indoors, in a garage, in a basement or too close to the dwelling with simple extension cords running inside during an outage. Be safe by wiring up the house to use an inlet cord such as this one. 15' was good for me; they also had 10' or 25' if called for. ... show more

  • Reasonable quality for the price
Size: 15-Feet Style: Inline Plug
Wow, pretty sturdy cable. Seems to work great with my whole-house portable generator plugged into an outdoor 50A receptacle. I wish it was 6/4 instead of 6/3+8/1 (which is why I only gave it 4 stars), but I can live with that. I'm using it in conjunction with: Generator http://www.amazon.com/Generac-5735-GP17500E-Portable-Generator/dp/B001RCUOU6 Outdoor Receptical http://www.amazon.com/Reliance-Controls-PB50-Generator-Generators/dp/B000HRWGBW Panel Interlock http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CONE4MG (this depends on the brand/type of panel you have...I've got a SquareD model) An electrician wired this up to a 240V/50A breaker in my 200A main panel which energizes the entire house. Works in a testing env, but haven't had an outage yet to test for longer-term use. (knock on wood) Total cost for whole-house generator backup was about $3k (including the elecrician fees to deal with the panel). It's a manual switchover, but it's functional and meets code. ... show more

Size: 25-Feet Style: Elbow Plug
Really solidly made. I don't know how well it fits an inlet yet - my inlet has been backordered a while. I removed the male end (pictured) to see if I could insert the wires into my panel and backfeed my house if push came to shove before my inlet arrives and it appears you can (not advised if you aren't familiar with how your home electrical system works). I'm hard judged and this is an impressive part, worth the money. ... show more

Size: 15-Feet Style: Elbow Plug
Great chord, but be prepared to either adjust the inlet box prongs or the female end of the chord. I chose to adjust the cable end know the inlet was correct. The female end is just a hair off (about 1/8") on one of prong holes. After pressing in hard, it marked the plastic area that was off. Took a small file and took the extra material off and it fit perfect. There's no way it's going in correctly without this adjustment. I suspect not every cable is off as only a few are reporting on the issue. ... show more
