Works as a Keurig should, but tank for water is smaller than the k-45 which broke. This one requires additional water after every 2-3 cups (would prefer 4+ as my Brita is heavy). Also, would prefer the cover for the water reservoir was attached to the machine. Too many (‘prob. germy’) hands as it gets removed, then replaced after addition of water. Not everyone washes hands as often as I (and I’m VERY aware of transmission of germs). Overall, it’s just okay… not ideal. Works well. ... show more

I really like the "extra strength" feature on this model (which actually just makes the water come out more slowly, giving more "brew time"). And generally, it works just fine. But...this model doesn't properly sense how much water is in the tank. The "add water" light will eventually come on, but even before it does, the Keurig will start a brew, run out of water, and then shut off. Since ours is in a corner under a cabinet, it's difficult to see how much water is in the tank, so it would be very helpful if this feature worked properly. ... show more

This model of Keurig machine is almost identical to one I had owned for more than 10 years, with a few exceptions. The shape and size is identical; however the material the machine is made out of is a much lighter product/plastic. The plastic is so light weight that I fear it will not last nearly as long as the prior one that I owned. Only time will tell. ... show more

We bought this because we used one in this style while on vacation and my husband loved the flavor! It made him feel like the one we had at home was maybe just not giving him the bold flavor that he enjoys (its older so maybe?). We went with the white version to blend in more with our kitchen, but just so you know, it has a big thick black power chord. Why on Earth they would use a black power cord on a white appliance that's going to be sitting out on your Kitchen counter is beyond me. Also the drip tray is plastic as opposed to metal; but I guess that's because of the white color. Also, because it is smaller we have to fill the reservoir more often. And also there is a trick to getting the Power saving function to turn off. Hold down the strong and 10oz buttons down at the same time for 3 seconds. ... show more
