    • Won't hold a charge ling enough to use it
Everytime I have charged it and tried to use it at the gym it has never worked. It works immediately after I take it off the charger then nothing. Maybe mine is broken. Otherwise seems like a great idea and value for your money if it works.

I noticed that the lock would open for any one of my fingers. i only set up the lock for my thumb. i also asked a random person at the gym to see if the lock would open for their fingerprint. it did. that’s not very secure is it?

    • Easy to use, exactly as promised
I wanted a padlock to childproof a cupboard with medication and cleaning supplies, as a high bolt was no longer enough. As it's used multiple times a day, a key would be inconvenient. Enter this fingerprint lock, which was easy to set up. The authorized adults can open it easily whenever needed, and no matter how enterprising the child, the cupboard cannot be opened otherwise. We are using these on two cupboards. Followup: The first lock stopped responding after about 18 months of frequent use (approx. 6-10 times a day). Even fully charged it would try, but fail, to open. What an absolute disappointment. When I took the item out of the box, as soon as your fingerprint touches the circle to unlock, it will unlock. AND if you use ANY fingerprint it will unlock. I follow the directions and the directions did not match up what the item was supposed to do. I want to be sure this would lock and keep my items at the gym secure, and based on how the lock acted, it does not. Returned and was issued a refund. DO NOT BUY! ... show more
