  • Pay attention to the instructions!
Color: gray,bronze Size: 10’ x 28'
We absolutely love this patio cover. It was fairly easy to assemble but you must know certain things about your structure you are attaching it to prior to installation. Measure your house height and make sure you have a flat surface to attach it to. We had to go out and buy a piece of 1x2 in order to make the area flat under the eaves. Follow each direction and pay attention to the direction you place your bolts so they are all going the same direction. The part that was most difficult was the piece that sealed the two halves together it was not simple but if you have any way to warm the rubber to make it easier on your hands. Also positioning of your rain/downspouts is crucial so pay attention to the angle when setting them. Enjoy! We love ours and are already feeling the difference outside and inside our home. ... show more

  • Looks great as a finished product and easy to assemble.

We live in Seattle where we have a short outdoor living season and we wanted to use our porch to visit with friends during Covid. This porch cover was perfect. It is well built and my kids and I put it up in a day. It took a little longer to build a pony wall to elevate the point of attachment due to the deck/roofline configuration but it turned out awesome. The kit is really well designed and has held up really well so far in the constant seattle deluge of rain, wind, tree debris, and some snow. Definitely recomend. ... show more

  • Palram Olympia 14w x 10 deep
Color: gray,bronze Size: 10’ x 14’
The Palram patio cover came out really nice, the product came in a long pallet and was packaged perfectly. Everything is pre-drill already and comes with all the hardware. Modern nice looking and very sturdy. I would have giving it 5 stars but 1 of the panels had some manufacture imperfections that I still need to get it corrected, to Amazons defense I still haven't reached out to them about the issue, I will soon. Thank you. ... show more

  • Nice, but kind of a mixed bag
Color: gray,bronze Size: 10’ x 24’
Overall I like this patio cover now that it is up. It looks nice and is pretty sold feeling. It was well designed to be adjustable. You can mount the bracket to the wall between 102.4" and 120" high. The poles can be placed between 89" and 112.6" inches from the wall. This can make the roof angle vary from 13 to 17 degrees, but doesn't change the snow load rating of 35lbs per square foot. The poles are also adjustable. The outer poles can be 2" to 21.6" from the end of the patio cover. The inner poles can all be adjusted as well, except for the 2nd pole. That one needs the center to be 83.75" from the edge. The reason this pole needs to be there is it acts as sort of a connecter between 2 of the support beams in the front. There were two issues I had that stop this from being a 5 star product. The first is that the packaging wasn't the best and the boxed was banged up from freight shipment. As shown in the picture, two of beams were dented. That in itself isn't the end of the world or anything, items get damaged in shipment. I went to the companies website, filled in their online form with all the info on the dented pieces, putting in part numbers, the Amazon order number and uploading photos. I got an automated confirmation email saying that they had received my request. That was 2 weeks ago. I've heard nothing at all since. After reading another reviewers story of waiting many months for parts, I was mulling over returning it to Amazon, but trying to pack all of those parts up and send them back freight would have been an enormous pain. So I clamped the pieces down and went at them with a dent repair kit I have, some chisels, and pliers and was able to get them functional. The piece that damaged the most, didn't look great, but I installed it to where you couldn't see that part. The second issue is the instructions are not good. They aren't actually sending you a 24 ft cover. They are sending you a shorter cover and an extension to make it 24 ft. I think it was a 16 ft kit and an 8 ft kit. They don't actually send you an instruction manual that tells you how to build this as one unit. You get one manual for the first one and another one that explains the extension unit, but that manual reads as if you already owned the 1st unit and just decided to extend it. It says the poles are adjustable but is kind of vague on where to place them when the 2 units are put together. It gives you 2 example options. The first is to have the 3rd and 4th pole super close to each other and the others spaced out, which is fine if you are mentally unbalanced. The 2nd option is to only use 4 of the 5 poles, which would make them even, but I wanted to use 5 poles instead of 4, so that when it snows in the winter the weight is more evenly distributed. The solution I came up with is to place the center of the first pole at 20" from the edge, the 2nd pole is fixed at 83.75", the 3rd pole at 143.8125", 4th pole at 203.875", and the 5th pole at 267.625". This gives you 60.0625" between the center pole and each of the poles to the right and left of it and 63.75" between each of the outer poles and the ones next to them. It's symmetrical and looking at it you can't really even visually see that 3" difference. I don't understand why the manufacturer doesn't calculate this and include it with the product. I shouldn't have to make a spreadsheet to try to figure out the best symmetrical placement of the poles for their product. The fact that one of the poles has to remain fixed and another spot has to have a bracket that attaches the first unit to the extension unit (limiting where you can place poles in that area) makes it complicated to figure out. The other issue with the instructions is that they are super difficult to read through. You get these books made of stapled, double sided copy paper that are in 18 different languages. So you read a bit in English and then have to go through tons of pages of other languages to get to the next bit you want, it makes it very hard to find things, especially because you aren't just neatly moving step by step, you are referencing the main instructions and the instructions for the extension unit back and forth through the whole process. On top of that the pictures and text are in different places so you are going back and forth with that a lot. So, this is a good product. The parts are good quality and it's cleverly designed to be very customizable. I don't know that there is anything out there that is terribly comparable, at least not that I've seen. You just have to decide if you want to roll the dice on getting one without defective parts, and decide if you are willing to slog through the instructions. One thing I would recommend if you buy it, is take the staples out of the instruction books and take out all of the pages that aren't in your language or don't have information you need on them. Staple what you need back together and you'll be left with a book that is 1/4 of the size you started and a bit easier to deal with. A side note, if you are installing on vinyl siding, as I did, there are no instructions from the manufacturer about attaching it to the siding. I looked around quite a bit and ended up taking of a couple of rows of my siding off and installing a pressure treated board to the wall so I had something solid to screw the brackets in to. I used decking boards as they are an inch thick which is enough wood to give the lag bolts something to bite in to but not so thick that it was sticking off of the house far far. Also, the decking board is just a little wider than the bracket that you attach to the house, so you don't even have to cut it other than for length. Then I covered that with 1/4" white poly panel from Home Depot so that it didn't look out of place on my trim (my siding is white). Then I installed a drip edge on top and J-channel over that and along the bottom and sides. You can find really great tutorials on how to do this from HouseImprovements Youtube channel. He has great videos on dealing with vinyl siding that were super helpful for me. ... show more

  • Still waiting for damaged parts replacement.
Color: gray,bronze Size: 10’ x 24’
We loved this patio cover when we seen it as my in laws bought the less expensive versions. A week after I ordered, the price dropped over $400 and Amazon told me I needed to return the product to get the less expensive price. Seems like a waist of money Amazon as it would cost a couple hundred to send back!! Once received, it was missing several structural parts and had 2 panels damaged. It took one month to receive the missing parts from the manufacturer and now almost 2 months later, I am still awaiting the panel replacement. Good thing I wanted to enjoy for the last part of summer:(. A bit disappointed with the service and again Amazons unwillingness to adjust the price. I would love to be able to adjust this star rating but until all is resolved, and I have a complete cover, I will give one star. EDIT: Original order July 2020. Parts arrived Jan 2021...in Buffalo, NY. Not Even taking out of the box:(. Also-looking for downspout pipe if anyone has ideas. The water is pouring out and the round size is not typical ... show more

  • Great looking patio!
Color: gray,bronze Size: 10’ x 14’
Very nice product. Wish they would have made a 16, but the 14 is enough. Read and re-read the instructions until you can map out a plan of attack. Then recheck every step. I was fortunate enough to worl with a freind that does contracting so things went fairly well. They are generous with hardware and there was at least one extra piece. Of bolting into cement get some slightly shorter cement screws. Quiet in the rain, diffuses the sun nicely, lopks nice ... show more

  • Well constructed

The patio cover is great. The crate arrived on the day scheduled. All materials were present in the box (including extra hardware). The pictorial instructions were very easy to follow. The instructions recommend two people, but I had three people for the installation. The cover shades my patio well.
