    • Easy alternative to floss

I admit, I'm not great at keeping up a routine with traditional floss. For whatever reason, I really dislike trying to pull a string between my teeth. I either push too hard in the tight spaces and end up cutting my gums - or I just hate the amount of slimy saliva that gets on it. It's not a great experience but I know I need to do it. That's why I decided to try these toothpick type flossers. These are much easier to squeeze in between tight teeth without causing trauma and are much more convenient to use during the day time or travel. A small carry case comes with these so you could always keep some with you when you might be concerned about getting food in your teeth while dining out. They are soft, but perhaps a bit too soft, as I find after pushing through a few teeth the stick gets very bendy and the textured tip seems less effective. I usually have to use a couple if I am trying to use for all teeth. The stick is also a little on the short side for trying to reach into the back of the mouth. If I had to choose between regular floss and these though I prefer the picks. I can't confirm if they are as effective as string floss in a dentist's opinion, but something is better than nothing I think! ... show more

My teeth are so close together. No way that floss can get in without shredding. I tried for years to use floss, but was so disappointed. It was hard to use, I couldn't get all the way in the back of my mouth, and, of course, the shredding. My dentist gave me a sample and I used it that day, and I loved it ! They fit in ALL the nooks and crannies where you want floss to go (but it can't or won't !). Sometimes I need a 2nd one because they occasionally bend and makes it harder to use. I love how they come with a little carrying case too ! I have one in my desk, one in my purse, one in my travel bag...you get the idea ! (BONUS: the case also works well to carry a couple of pills, safety pins, etc. anything small and flat) This is a product I will use forever. The price is great, they are high quality and so useful. ANYTHING more that yo do NOW is better for your mouth! Get them, carry them use them. NOT those floos picks!! You are suppose to floss THRU your teeth, not pull up!! Thats how you pull off caps and crowns!

    • Easy, but tend to bend when using between back molars.

You use a new one each night after brushing (and flossing, but that's probably just me!). They work well, except sometimes they bend when using on back molars, and you have to throw it out and get a new one. Once they're bent, they're useless. They're not that sturdy, but I like them. Having trouble with my wrists and whining when I had to flex to floss, then Hygienist told me to use these instead, WOW!!! What a difference, not just in the act of cleaning my teeth, much more successful, I really believe my gums are healthier for it. Would highly recommend!!!

I love using these compared to the thinner Gum brand picks which would snap or bend easily. These are very sturdy and work great. Goes in between teeth easily. Will continue using these as long as I have teeth.
