I own two of the beige and white marble (one I’ve had for over two years) my boyfriend loved mine so much I got him the burnt orange one. BUY IT!! These are such high quality and I’m quite the snob when it comes to my bedding. I love these more than anything I see at west elm, kirklands etc. I always get the biggest size, my only complaint is I wish they made a king size one that is big enough to layer at the end of my bed and hang off each side. These are heavy and they stay soft and beautiful no matter how many times you wash them. No shedding, they don’t get ratty or matted. This wonderful blanket is completely as described. The fur like feel, weight, and size are perfect for my twin xl bed. Probably a little warm to be used with a sheet in summer time, but for fall, winter, and early spring it will be perfect. Note: I live in Florida but still the fall and winter months get 20's, 30's, and 40, at night. When I tell you this is the exact type of blanket I have been wanting for years now, I truly do mean that. I’ve been looking high and low for the “perfect” snuggly blanket, and this absolutely takes the cake. My last blanket had this minky, soft faux fur on one side, and plush sherpa on the other. I originally loved wrapping myself in the sherpa side, but that quickly changed as it began suffering from friction, the occasional wash cycle, etc. etc. It just wasn’t soft anymore- honestly, it was becoming more itchy than anything else. So I began using the minky side inside. And it eventually dawned on me that I just needed a blanket that had that same material all the way around. In comes this absolute dream of a blanket. For starters, I got it half off. It was still $50, but even then, it is absolutely worth the price. I got the extra large marbled gray and it is arguably the best blanket I’ve ever owned. First major plus- this blanket maintains its shape very well. You guys ever get those awkward bunches in your blankets or comforters that just won’t go away regardless of how many times you punch or try to smooth them out? Yeah, never gonna have that issue with this blanket. I did have to wash it when it first came in since it smelled very lightly of chemicals, but once that was taken care of and it fully dried, it was genuinely perfect. I used the delicate cold wash setting on my washer, NO fabric softener (just detergent), and then put into my dryer on low settings with plenty of dryer balls. It’s not recommend you throw it in the dryer like that, but it worked out perfectly fine for me- I do firmly believe the dryer balls made all the difference. And again, LOW heat settings- preferably no heat if possible. Obviously, if you have the time to hang it up to dry, then absolutely do that. But if not, be very careful about throwing these types of blankets in the dryer. You can melt the tips of the fibers if too much heat is used, causing them to harden. In regards to softness, this is a very cozy blanket. The fur is very soft, cool, and silky to the touch, especially after being washed and dried. The blanket has some decent weight to it, but it’s not the type of heaviness in blankets that leaves you sweating and uncomfortable after 5 minutes whatsoever. I’d probably put it closer to a breathable medium weight blanket as opposed to a light weight. It’s keeps me plenty warm and happy without cooking me like a little dumpling. And the final major plus here? This blanket does NOT shed. I have no idea why or how some other reviewers have had this issue, because the fur on this blanket is very sturdy in that sense for me. There really wasn’t even any stray furs that got caught in the dryer’s lint trap- it was extremely minimal. Overall, I’m beyond thrilled with this blanket, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Do not place all your trust in the handful of negative reviews; this is definitely a worthy purchase. ... show more

I have bought 2 of these for our home and a couple more as gifts. These are so soft and warm. The weight of this throw is comforting and cozy. They are machine washable but need to be air dried to maintain the softness and fur- like texture. Highly recommend. They come packaged very elegantly bundled and tied with a satin ribbon. I ordered this blanket for those days when I'm watching tv on the living room sofa which, by the way, is situated near some drafty windows. What I love about it is the soft texture and the fact that it's oversized (covers all 5'6" of me), it's double sided, and it certainly spruces up the look of a sofa. Washes well with no shedding and no shrinkage. For those of you with fur babies, I can see how they would become addicted to this blanket. Makes a beautiful gift! ... show more

This is a dreamily soft blanket! I got it in the mottled grey and it is beautiful. I like the color variation, it adds a little dimension to it. It was noticeably heavy right out of the box. But I have owned a “weighted blanket” before and it is not as heavy as one of those. However I would say this is a better option for folks who find weighted blankets too heavy and cumbersome to use, but still want weighted comfort. I actually got this for my son who has sensory needs and he absolutely loves this blanket. He loves the softness and the weight. It doesn’t have any “stuffing” inside it, so it lays flat easily and won’t bunch up in the wash and get ruined over time. I haven’t washed it yet, but I think I will need to wash separately so the washing machine drum doesn’t get off balance, since this is super weighty. The only thing that isn’t great about this blanket is that it is difficult to fold neatly. Because of its softness, it is slippery to fold, and because of the weight, gravity isn’t your friend when folding. It is not easy to fold into a neat square/rectangle for storage, and even if accomplished it won’t stay folded. It is better draped over a bed or couch… but also, it’s big, so you will need to figure out if that will work for you. I borrowed it to see if I wanted one on my bed, however for me, it was too weighty to sleep with. I found the weight to be a bit bothersome and constricting for sleep. However I do love snuggling up under it on the couch on a cool evening. Great price, gorgeous, soft and useful blanket. If it folded neatly it would be perfect! ... show more
