When I decided to replace the chairs in the kitchen I began looking at various sites for that perfect chair. I finally found these on Amazon and began checking the reviews. Generally they received good marks on appearance and comfort but multiple complaints on stability and the difficulty of assembly. Despite those reviews I decided to purchase four of the chairs. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the fabric and padding. Everything looked good so my next job was to put them together. I'm not sure what the issue was with assembly but the instructions were clear and there are just so many parts to deal with. There are four legs, with two of those legs attached to the back rest. The remaining parts are bolts and washers. Once you've assembled the first chair, 15-20 minutes, the next three go very quickly. The other most common complaint was that the chairs were unsteady and the legs were different lengths. I don't know about the length being off, but using the adjusting screws on the leg bottoms resolved any issue with stability. Bottom line is the chairs are exactly what I've been looking for. The materials are quality and assembly was no more difficult than any other project. For anyone considering these chairs I would recommend them highly. ... show more

For the price, these are nice chairs. They feel sturdy. I only wanted/needed one but, they came in a set so, that’s what I got! Anyway, I’m using one as a desk chair. It fits under my desk perfectly (from the floor to the bottom of my desk is 23” and from side to side it is 19”). The back is slightly rounded (I saw a few people ask this so, figured I’d put it in my review). The bottom of the legs have small plastic cap type things that can screw in/out as needed in case of uneven legs and to protect the floor. However, they do feel, well, plastic. They are not rubber. So, I will likely purchase additional caps to put on the bottom just to ensure I don’t scratch up my floors. The material is similar to a canvas feel. It isn’t itchy, though, which I was concerned about (since I’m using mine as a desk chair). The cushion on the seat is more plush than I expected. I wouldn’t say the chair is ergonomic but, there is slight lumbar support which, I wasn’t expecting so, that was a nice surprise. I will likely still get a cushion of some sort to help with comfort since I’ll be sitting in this chair for hours a day while working from home. The color of the chairs I purchased look the same as what was shown on the website. The flowers are a mix of cream, dark blue and a bit of an egg blue. The background is a cream color but it looks “vintage” to me in the sense that there are slight “flecks” of brown in the thread (see attached picture). It’s really nice looking and decent quality from what I can tell so far (they just delivered 4 days ago and this is my first day using them with my desk). Now, for putting them together... it didn’t take me more than 20ish minutes per chair. However, the biggest issue I had was getting the bolts/screws to line up with the chair legs and chair back through the bottom of the chair. There was a fair amount of wiggling and moving around I had to do to get them in. Unfortunately, it’s difficult (nearly impossible) to see the actual holes on the chair legs when you are actually installing the bolts. Everything fit with some sight shifting so, if you find it difficult to get the bolts in, dear not, you just need to wiggle (yes, that’s the technical term) stuff a bit. I do like that each chair came with a small red bag of its own. So, I didn’t have to try to organize one entire bag of all nuts/bolts to separate for each chair. Each bag also comes with that little L-shaped tool thing (yet another technical term, you’re welcome). So, when my son (okay, it was me) lost that little took after putting together the first chair, I had another one in the second little bag! Yay! All-in-all, installation was pretty easy. Chairs feel solid. There is no wiggle. There originally was some wiggle in the first chair... that’s how I figured out those little plastic caps screw in more if needed! Haha! I ordered these for my mom. She loved the print. My husband assembled them, and after getting everything together, we noticed a couple snags in the fabric. Since we didn't want to disassemble and carry something heavy to return it, I contacted customer service and got a small discount. I can't remember if it was 10 / 20 percent. I am glad i bought these -- they are really quite pretty, and especially for the price! Being mindful that they are among the cheaper options is always important. Do i think they will last for my son to pass along to his kids? No. Do they look like they will last for the next 20 years? I think so! Now, assembly got easier with each chair -- it did require some patience in the beginning. But I got the knack. That said, there is a bit of a wobble because two of the legs don't touch ground at the same time. Which is annoying. But i do hope they might work themselves out as they are sat in over time. And, again, the aesthetics of them is quite nice! They are comfortable too! ... show more

The chairs seem to be constructed fairly well. Some of the piping covering the seems on the backs of two of the six chairs we purchased could have been put on a little better. They are way lighter than they look which makes me wonder how long they will last and what kind of wood was used. Also, aligning the screws to secure the back of the chair is a feet in itself. The alignment of the bolt is tough. I don't believe they'd last for every day usage, but having them in our dining room where they will be used a few times a year I believe will be just fine. The pictures don’t do these chairs justice. They are beautiful. The wood of the legs turned out lighter than I thought they would be but all in all the comfort and sturdiness is perfect.
