See the title for a tldr, and the end for a pros and cons list This rug is a very dense low/medium-low like rug. It's also incredibly soft-as soft as my old shag carpet was new. The difference is that where that old thing was a dirt magnet, this one cleans like a dream. I can clean up even wood shavings with a cheap hand vac. Colors are very nice and accurate to the images- a family member got the red and cream one and they're as perfect for their living room as we had hoped. It's also not too heavy, and as such you'll need to weigh it down to get the corners not to curl. It does not have a no-slip backing, but you get what you pay for. Really that's my only complaint *List* The good: + Super soft + Easy to clean + Colors same as images + Dense pile Cons: - Slips, especially on hardwood - Loves to catch chair wheels - Definitely needs to air out two days or so when first opened Verdict: worth every penny ... show more

I was positively surprised about the softness of this area rug - besides it also looks really great. However, the company should change their packaging a little. The rug was rolled up and wrapped in a way that after over a week it's still not 100% flat on the ground. There is one "fold line" that still has not disappeared and two corners are still sticking up. For the corners I may just get those "stick to the ground pads" and I hope the line will disappear over time, but right now it bothers me enough to deduct one star and only give it 4. ... show more
