I like everything about mobile 1 5w30 20,000 mile, high mileage oil, and when you can get it for a great price it is even better the only complaint i have is with there warehousing and shipping it took me 1month to receive this product..i bought it through Amazon but it was Mobile 1 was the seller on there site it was to arrive in 5 days after 7 days They "mobile 1" back ordered it for what they said could be up to another 3 weeks... The product arrived 2 1/2 weeks later...... Even though i save approximately 25 dollars on it...But i couldnt wait 3 extra weeks to service my truck so i went ahead and bought Amazon brand synthetic for 1 dollar less its reviews are just about as good as mobile1 ....i will save the mobile 1 till next service ,... ... show more

No idea why but this is going for at least ten bucks more at the auto store. Why pay more for the same item? Only thing was they are not always in stock, so if you want to do your own changes, just buy it early and have it on hand in case there is an availability issue. Used this on an old car which has an occasional leak, and after the change it is now dry as a bone underneath. My understanding is that these high mileage oils have conditioners which help condition old gaskets (where most leaks occur). Works great, and at a great price. ... show more

You may think it crazy and absurd ordering motor oil from Amazon but a person's got to do when it's simply convenient. Our local Costco here in the city stopped selling Mobile One and having to drive to any of the local automobile stores is not only inconvenient but you have to put up with snotty kids with attitude. Prices charged on Amazon are decent so you never overpay once you get the final order over $25. What makes this particular oil amazing is the fact I have a 17 year old Toyota which is used only make doctor's appointments and short hops to local places here in the city. As a result I never put more than 3k miles in the course of a year. Oil changes are performed in alternating years.....yes alternating years! Book value is insultingly low however I keep it around just for these purposes. So far it worked for me these 15 years since I retired. Can I have the oil changed by others? Yes but why pay hard earned bucks not knowing what kind of bulk oil is used when I can get the job done in 10 minutes or less knowing it's completed properly .... overtighted drain plug are avoided, oil filter cartridge isn't overtightened with a breaker bar, and all the remaining fluids are validated to be topped off. There's got a be a reason why Mobile clearly states this oil can be used in extended drain intervals! ... show more

I have been using mobile one extended oil on all my four cars and I can tell you this is the best oil I ever used, the price is good and you can actually drive 18,000 to 20,000 miles on this oil, my 2003 Tahoe has 190,000 miles and I have actually drove 20,000 miles with the mobile extended filter and nothing happened, oil was dark but still liquified to lubricate vital engine parts and I use it on my wife’s 2014 Acadia and I ran it with 16,000 miles on the oil before changing it and the engine still runs good. ... show more

My car has over 80k miles now. I have been always used regular Mobile 1 fully synthetic motor oil for every 5k oil change even though it can run up to 10k but I don’t want to take the risk to ruin the engine. After the oil change this time, I feel the engine has restored lot of power now.

My friend in high school referred Mobile 1 full synthetic motor oil to me when I bought my 2nd car for brand new. I had always used Mobile 1 from then on for every 5000 miles oil change. Now I am on my 6th car so far, my current vehicle has over 120k miles, and I’m using mobile 1 all the time. I am switching from economy synthetic motor oil 0w20 to high mileage 0w20. Let’s see how the result is after I switched. Amazon has the best price so far. Inflation has increased motor oils in every retailers except Amazon online.
