  • FAKE SAMSUNG MEMORY CARD??
Capacity: 1 pack
I suspect these 2 64GB Samsung cards I bought are fake. I put them in my phone and it said they were slow and to consider using a UHS-1 memory card. This is suppose to be a UHS-1 card. The back of the card had a sticker covering up the real bar code.

  • Product delivered does not match product pictured on the Amazon website
Capacity: 1 pack
I ordered this product expecting to receive a UHS Class U3 memory card, as pictured. Instead I received an UHS Class U1 card. The website clearly says that the write speed is 60 MB/s. The packaging that was delivered says that it has a max write speed of 20 MB/s. I attached photos of the product that was delivered. I was able to purchase two Micro Center brand memory cards with the same size and speed class for a lower price. ... show more

  • Samsung Evo Plus vs SanDisk Extreme
Capacity: 1 pack
A better comparison would have been the Samsung Pro line of SD cards to the SanDisk Exreme but I was curious how a more budget oriented card would do compared to a card that is known to be one of the fastest. There is a newer version of the SanDisk Extreme out that is the A2 so if you do buy get the newer one. As you can see both tests are pretty similar in it's results. The budget EVO Plus has roughly 20MB/s slower write rate compared to the more expensive Extreme but for read speeds it's a pretty negligible difference. For action cameras which is constant write, I would buy the Extreme and for the EVO Plus I would use in something that doesn't have much write jobs such as storage for a phone or a drive for a Raspberry Pi. That's not to say that the EVO Plus wouldn't work in an action camera. The new GoPro 7 Black shoots 4K at a bitrate of 78Mbps which is about 9.75 MB/s so even with the EVO Plus at 68MB/s there shouldn't be a problem whatsoever but having a faster card can only help. ... show more

  • Needed for my low priced phone
Capacity: 1 pack
I got a great affordable phone, the LG Stylo 4 with Spectrum Mobile for $ 10 per month, but it doesn't come in a massive amount of memory. I had a lot of pictures transferred from my old phone that was taking up space. The 64 GB card did the trick. Can you imagine that this little SD card has more memory than was used in the entire Apollo Moon program. ... show more

  • Cloning software stinks
Capacity: 1 pack
I bought this SSD drive to replace one that was failing in my desktop computer. It seemed like a it was priced in line with other brands for the capacity. My first step was to clone the old drive to the new one. The online tutorials I'd found said to use the link for cloning software that comes with the drive so that it works for the brand you bought. The link here was on the packaging and in a miniscule font that required a magnifying glass to read. When I got to the website and tried to download the app, it asked for a serial number. What serial number? I had no serial number! I tried the serial number on the drive, but that's not what it wanted! So the link was useless. I tried a third party drive management app that was recommended in one of the product reviews on Amazon, but once the cloning was finished, the drive would not boot. I took the tower to a local computer shop who found that a number of hidden files had not copied over in the cloning, so I had them redo the work. The drive works fine now, but I've only had it running for about an hour. I would probably have been better off taking the machine into the computer repair shop in the first place and let them put in an ssd drive that they have experience working with. I doubt it would have cost more than what I paid for the drive and the repair shop combined. ... show more

  • Lots of space

  • Great inexpensive upgrade to kid's tablets
Capacity: 1 pack
I got 3 of these to upgrade my kid's kindle fire tablets since the 8GB that comes with the tablets (more like 4GB useable) is really inadequate for almost anything (shame on kindle for selling them with so little memory in the first place!). All 3 of the memory cards worked on arrival and they've given new life to the tablets which had become only marginally useful with only a bare handful of books and apps installed. They're plenty fast and seem reliable so far. Recommended! ... show more

  • Compatible with the Nintendo Switch
Capacity: 1 pack
Bought this for my Nintendo Switch. It is compatible and works great. So far no problems. I've bought many microSD cards from Samsung over the years and none have failed me yet. Definitely recommend!
