  • Buy them!
Size: 9.5 Color: Grey/Black/Orange
Amazingly comfortable. I'm rarely disappointed by Brooks, and that trend continues. They seem well designed, and are very cushioning. A GoreTex or waterproof upgrade would be about the only suggestion I have. The half velcro tab on the backs of the shoe is a bit odd. The bottom of the tongue could use a bit more padding, and some additional color options would be phenomenal, as I'd love another pair! Some reflective accents would also be an improvement. The soles, including outer and inners, are very flexible. If you require a rigid or a more stable sole, these aren't for you. ... show more

  • Love that they made a wide version as the 12’s ...
Got these two days ago, took them for a trail run today. Fit was on point. Love that they made a wide version as the 12’s crushed my toes. Very comfortable shoe and plenty of toe room. Initial thoughts: they performed very well on dirt, gravel, grass, rocky terrain. Didn’t get to test them out in wet conditions. Excellent ride throughout. Was 15 miles and my feet feel great. Now the bad part. As shown in the picture after 1 trail run 3 lugs on the bottom of the right shoe either came off completely or was severely damaged. Not happy right now, going to try and exchange and give these one more go. ... show more

  • Brooks is My Shoe
I use to run marathons years ago. I use to jog. But those days are over. I am 66. I have flat feet and have a very active, energetic dog who I walk 4 miles a day. I can't wear shoes any longer. They hurt my feet. Most running shoes hurt my feet too. But Brooks does not. These Calderas' are medicine to my feet. I wear them all day long when I am out and about. They feel real good and my feet loves them. I walk 4 miles a day with these shoes and they feel great. I have been wearing Brooks for the past 5 years without any problem. I am a size 10 shoe, but take 10.5 with Brooks. ... show more

  • Great All Around Workout Shoe
I've been running/walking in Brooks shoes for years and the Cascadia 13 did not disappoint me. I live in the country so trail running/walking is what I do most. I find the tread to be very good. It provides grip but does not seem to "gum" up. I wear a size 14 EE, so finding running shoes that fit is often a chore but not with Brooks. They offer larger sizes and many of the Cascadia 13 came in a wider width too. I like how they fit. The shoes have been durable so far. ... show more

  • A surprising fail for Brooks
The most poorly fitting athletic shoe I've ever purchased. Was very pleased that return shipping was free. Brooks' shoes normally fit-to-size with only occasional variations. This shoe totally blindsided me. The fit was instantly rigid and at least one full size -- and one degree of width -- too small. The positives are the durability of materials and the physical appearance of the shoes. That said, try a different shoe. ... show more

  • Inferior material compared to past models
I’ve been a Brooks wearer for a number of years. This pair has been disappointing. The tread up front has worn down considerably. In about 6 months of use it’s almost gone. I usually go a full year before replacing them. Compared to an older pair I still have these are in worse shape. I’ll try them one more time but if I have the same issues I’m switching brands. ... show more
