  • High quality Memory at a Great Price
Size: 32GB(2x16) Style: DDR4 3200MHz 16-20-20-40 Color: Red
I purchased these memory modules to upgrade an Asus business class system I own. The original memory was 12Gb running at 2600 Mhz, as I was hunting an upgrade these appeared in my search. The same price as many of the 2600 Mhz I was seeing but rated at 3200 Mhz. I knew that I wouldn't be able to run them at 3200 Mhz as my system has no tweaking, but I knew that this probably meant they were better engineered that 2600 Mhz. So I ordered this package, and they came a day early. I swapped out the old and placed these modules in. Perfect fit. Fired up my system, when into Bios and checked to be sure they were seen as 32 Gb, they were. Went into task manager and these ram were only running at 2400 Mhz. Okay, I use a benchmark program to see where hardware wise I can improve my system. Ran it but didn't close all my memory hog programs and it gave me a 302 rating for the RAM. The old RAM's best benchmark was 250. I had to go to work and after getting done with work today. I reran the benchmarking with all the memory hogs gone. Went up to 310, with a variance from 307 to 312 running multiple times. Checking my history the old RAM had a variance from 224 to 250. This RAM performs awesome, I'm sure if I do one day upgrade to a gaming motherboard and cpu that this ram will be in that build! Clock speed isn't the only thing that increases RAM performance, great engineering does as well! Definitely a buy and will recommend to my friends who want to upgrade or build their computer. ... show more

  • Check for compatibility
Size: 16GB(2x8) Style: DDR4 3200MHz 16-20-20-40 Color: Gray
I "think" this memory is good...? I ran into issues with this but it's mostly on me because I didn't verify its compatibility. But for others' awareness, I'm writing this review in case someone else stumbles upon it. It's been a few years since my last full build but I've built dozens of desktops prior. This time I was building a PC for my son. I originally purchased this memory along with an MSI B550M PRO-VDH motherboard (for an AMD 5600g CPU) that I verified for its compatibility. I then shortly returned that motherboard because I found a really good deal for ASUS TUF B550M PLUS WIFI II. Silly me, I just assumed it would work since it was the same B550M...boy was I wrong. My build was pretty easy. It turned on, bios loaded, and on to installing Windows. Then BAM! Blue Screen on Death on Windows install. Not sure how or what, but it put my hard drive in a bad state. I thought it was the drive and so I put in a different drive. This time the Windows install went through but then another BSOD on Windows Updates. I got it back up. It seemed stable for a bit. Then I started updating drivers. BSOD again. Got it stable again by tweaking the speed and timings in the bios. Then I dared tried a Windows 11 upgrade. BSOD again. As It turns out, this memory is NOT on Asus's compatibility list for the aforementioned MOBO. I bought a Corsair set that IS on their compatibility list. And guess what? No issues since (knock on wood). I give it four stars because I'm sure this is a good module set. However, I did take a star off for the blanket "Support AMD motherboards" statement. ... show more

  • Update: NOW stable at 3600
Size: 16GB(2x8) Style: DDR4 3600MHz 18-22-22-42 Color: Red
I bought the 16gb kit of 3600-18-22-22-42 for a build using a Gigabyte B550m DS3H mb (recent BIOS) and AMD 5700G APU. I really want at least 3600 speed to help with the integrated graphics in the 5700G; however, I cannot get it to boot when set to the advertised 3600 XMP profile. The memory works fine at the slow JEDEC 2400 profile speed, and I can get it to work fine at 3200 speed with the XMP sub timings, but not 3600. I tried loosening the sub timings, and bumping the XMP 1.35 voltage a little up to 1.37, but to no avail - whenever I set the speed to 3600, it won't boot and goes back to the bios and sets the speed at JEDEC 2400. I was hoping this would be a smooth install at a good price, but alas -no. Sure it could be a problem with the motherboard, but I tried some known good 3600 Crucial ram from another machine, this worked fine. Unfortunately, it looks like Crucial has moved on to DDR5 and I can no longer find this ram! So It looks like I will be returning these sticks and try something else. Unfortunately, I'll probably have to pay a little more, but I really want stable 3600. Two stars because it will boot and work, but not at the advertised speed in my motherboard that has been out for a while and has been well reviewed. Update: After updating the BIOS to F16a (I was running F15, I don't normally like running an *a* version BIOS, the machine did boot at 3600 and seems to be running stably. Only 4 stars now, instead of the earlier 2, as the F15 BIOS was recent enough that the ram should have worked with it. I almost returned it, but will keep it now. ... show more

  • Exceptional value, High quality DDR5, High clocking: HYNIX DIE CONFIRMED
Size: 32GB(2x16) Style: DDR5 5600MHz 32-36-36-76 Color: Black
I got these to replace the Kingston Fury Beast cl40/5200 ram I had before. Even with the loose cl40 timings, I could not get the Kingstons to run any greater than 4800. After doing some research I found this TeamGroup Vulcan cl32/5600 kit. I also read that ram with "cl32" timings can ONLY be HYNIX die; which is the most desirable memory for a myriad of valid reasons. Without changing anything else in my system; I removed the Kingstons and snapped the TeamGroup Vulcans into place. XMP is still pretty wonky with z690; so I chose to manually enter the voltage and timing values specified by TeamGroup. The end results are: I am now running memory @ stock 1.20v with much tighter cl32 timings @ 6000MHZ (with a 12600k on a basic Asus Prime z690-p motherboard). As a bonus, the TeamGroup Vulcans do seem to run a bit cooler than the Kingston Fury Beasts. On top of it all they come with a lifetime warranty. I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone looking for high quality performance memory without the RGB or price tag associated with RGB. I will update my review should I run into any issues in the future. ... show more

  • Great budget option
Size: 16GB(2x8) Style: DDR4 3200MHz 16-18-18-38 Color: Gray
Not the best pic of the ram, but I put the first two sticks in last year and haven't had a single bit of trouble out of them. Great budget price, so I had to order another set and it didn't disappoint. 4 sticks for a total of 32gb for a total of about 90 dollars isn't a bad deal. Only 2 sticks shown in the picture but all 4 work perfectly and didn't get any dead sticks. ... show more
